What is the most random song you have ever had stuck in your head for no reason?

Couldn't choose just one as I constantly have songs running in circles in my head and they can
just abruptly change at anytime and be of any genre.
Not prone to commercial jingles though. Don't know why.

If I am very focused on something, they stop. Also, if they aren't there as soon as I wake up
I know I don't feel well. Hearing them let's me know I am my normal self and all is square with
the world.

All I can give you is the one playing in there right now.
Who knows what it will be when I wake up today. :p

Had to go and watch it... Oh, be still my beating heart!!!
(my first big crush);)

I get so many songs stuck in my head there are times I can't think. Alas, they are usually conventional songs. But for some reason I will remember old commercials from when I was a kid and those commercials will play on endless loop.
Right now it's

@Yeshuasdaughter, I went to Heart Street Elementary school in Van Nuys 1st and 2nd grades. Cal brought his entire zoo menargerie to our school. I was a pretty well travelled kid and I was amazed at the children who had never seen a cow or donkey. But cal also brought an Elephant. It was truly memorable!

Actually, that school was one of the best experiences I ever had. The school was considered "under priveledged" so somehow we ended up with really cool field trips. Roy Rogers Ranch, Knotts Berry Farm, Harlem Globe Trotters (original troupe), a Record pressing plant...

I was also a So Cal girl. I went to Sea World for my Prom, and spent Grad Night at Disneyland.

I was just up the coast, in Oxnard.

Our Grad Night was in [Six Flags] Magic Mountain.
My senior year, I was on the student council for my high school (commissioner of activities). So our advisor somehow weaseled us where we were supposed to go to a long career seminar at Magic Mountain for $10 each, and had us sit in the back. After 30 minutes, he snuck us all out and we ran around the park on all the rides for the rest of the day and late into the night.

Thanks for the thread. Now I can sing for the next week, "I Can't Get It Out Of My Head" by ELO.

My husband and I had the same song suddenly invade our brain and fly out of our mouths at the same time. It was really spooky. We were packing up our apartment to move to our new house and it was so quiet out of the blue we just started singing an old song that neither of us had heard for decades: The Rubber Ducky song from Sesame street.

Another "Ducky" song you might like...

Some of the music from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds gets stuck in my head from time to time. The most example of that been when I was waiting for my pizza to finish cooking and, for some reason, my mind started playing the son Thunder Child.

My husband and I do that all the time. We often change lyrics too and will use the same or similar replacement lines. It is fun!
