I wonder who would be the President of
the United Anarchist Society in this
imaginary world.

There surely would be many many social
clubs of this type, right?

Including the *I'm too special to belong to any club that would have me* Club?

Groucho Marx appreciation society maybe

This is just for talking and wondering sake so please don't take it the wrong way , what if there's was a town where there is no nts but a town just full of autistics and asperger people of all kinds form all over autism spectrum would this town be good to live in ,friendly ,sustainable or would you think it might not work tell me your opinion and what you think it would be like please
This has been all very interesting thank you all for your protisapation and for some really interesting thoughts and again I would like to say that this was only for a convo and for thinking sake so if anyone found this to be a little off color or offensive I deely apologise , I personally thought the town would work in some areas but fail in the end

Sounds like you've got reasons it works for you and that's great. Perfect example why I put fools in quotes. And I like Jeeps.

My dad stacks up about that much mileage too, traveling salesman. He seeks out low mileage Grand Cherokees and runs them till about 300k. They run well, are rarely in the shop, and get him through the harsh winters here. He knows them inside and out. Always has at least 2 in his fleet which he rotates.

I have an older XJ Cherokee. My newest and nicest vehicle right now, but still built old and simple. I keep multiple vehicles too so I'm never out.

ZJs (Grand Cherokees) rule! I have one that I have modified for off road use only. There is nothing like four wheeling in luxury and it will go anywhere my sons highly modified XJ Cherokee will. Since my Jeep is black and there are five Jeeps in the family, mine has a sticker in the back window that says " I am the Black Jeep of the family".

OP, sorry for getting so far off topic, maybe we should start a 4 X 4 thread.

I'm kind of split on deciding.
I've always thought a place like that would be ideal
as we all have a lot in common in how we like to live,
special interests, most of us like nature and a bit of isolation in our surroundings.
That's not been my experience. I've met more fellow Aspies who are into roads or video games than who share my special interest in sustainable technologies. Evidently Swampy was no Aspie.

Temple Grandin once claimed that if the entire human race were NT, they'd still be stuck in caves chatting. To which I say, if the entire human race were autistic, some of them would still be stuck in caves obsessing over the finer details of rock formation.

it would almost work, but not quite. imo the world was made for nts, and asds were sent to fix the problems theyve created. a place with few nts seems absolutely necessary, so as not to confuse the mission, but it might be dangerous without some well intentioned folks to take care of poco logistics and whatnot

I think it takes all kinds to make a society so I voted no. Of my 3 best friends 2 are NT and one is ND but not ASD, and I'd be miserable without them. I think it would be a good idea for a holiday camp though! :p

An interesting idea for many of us. A chance to thrive with only our own kind.

However I'd think much of any community with a neurological minority of less than two percent of everyone else would stand a poor chance of sustainability in general.

In this instance, diversification is an asset- not a liability. That a community driven by unique special interests manifested with "tunnel vision" wouldn't likely be enough to make a community thrive, that fundamentally requires a broad spectrum of infrastructure concerns- and talents.
