I remember reading, years ago, that the Chinese observed and recorded everything and astrology evolved through comparing observed positions of stars/constellations to peoples personality traits, much like modern statistical analysis. Indeed, a councelor once told me that certain signs are more or less likely to suffer depression or self harm.
Therefore, I would not say I believe or disbelieve in astrology, or many other things. Rather, I keep an open mind and accept the possibility until refuting evidence turns up. Even then, apparently 50% of current facts will be proven false in 20 years time (there's a name for this, can't remember it tho).. so definitely, open mind!

I enjoy astrology, but I don't take it too seriously.

I am a Capricorn by the western zodiac and Snake by the Chinese one. My husband is an Aries and Boar. I also like the Silver D&D dragon and he likes the Black one. We are NOT supposed to be compatible no matter which way you look at it! But we make it work and have an anniversary coming up soon. =)

My kid is a Gemini and I am always afraid of his horoscopes when I read them. It's always something like, "be adventurous and don't be afraid to be even more energetic". He can't get much more adventurous and energetic, he wears me out as is!

I don't know enough about astrology to dismiss or put stock into it, but when knowledgeable enough people talk to me about it, it seems at least reasonable, like numerology or more down-to-earth ways of approaching spirituality/religion.

That being said, I'm a Leo, and those kinds of people always say that I fit the profile of a Leo quite well. Despite my AS, and desire to generally be left undisturbed, I definitely require the command of others' attention in social situations where I can be myself. I'm also fairly argumentative (in a debate sort of way, not an emotional context) and extremely stubborn when it comes to my principles and values. I also value creativity and self-expression over pretty much anything in life, including love and human connection, and that's supposedly a Leo trait.

Also I am tall, blonde, skinny, and hairy, so I kind of look like a lion, haha. When I used to have extremely long, curly "metalhead" hair, this homeless guy I used to hang out with often referred to me as "Liones, the Lion Man." I never told him anything about myself, other than at the time, I liked to drink a lot.
