Oops. This poll is missing my temperament.

It's simply "Irish". A fine one at that.

Finally did the test, it matched-up fairly well with what suspected my temperament blend is:

Choleric: 14
Melancholic: 13
Sanguine: 6
Phlegmatic: 9

The only surprise for me was that Choleric came out on top, I always thought I was more Melancholic than Choleric; they were neck-and-neck though.

The results come out different on different days just like other personality tests. Personality test get so frustrating sometimes. Does anyone else have this problem? Your results make sense that day then another day you are not so sure. You retake the test and get different results. These results make sense that day. The two different sets of results continue to cycle around and around. Each time you feel like you must be recovering from your past traumas because you remember having these traits before and it feels like you are finally being your real self again and so obviously the other must have been learned behavior or even a direct response to the traumas and yet when you change back to those other traits it once more feels like your finally being yourself again. Whichever personality type currently fits, feels like the "real you" while the other way of being feels somewhat foggy and like you don't know why you would have been acting that way and yet when acting that way you feel the same about the reverse way of being.

In regards to this particular typing system, I seem to rotate between a balance of phlegmatic and melancholic at times and sanguine leaning at other times.

Yes. What is more frustrating to me is that there isn’t a “best” answer. I’m all over the map with these things. The only test that I have felt solid answers for is for determining autism.

As I suspected, melancholic with sanguine following close behind. Not shocked, if anyone can claim to be a natural empath, it's me. I'm convinced I'm an emotional sponge, absorbing and re-projecting the emotions of others around me, even strangers.

I just took the test offered at the beginning of the thread. The top result was sanguine closely followed by phlegmatic. Choleric and melancholy were tied.

1st sanguine
2nd phlegmatic
3rd/4th choleric/melancholy tied
