What song are you listening to right now?

You're going to have to stop posting great stuff, you're making me look bad :p

LOL!

It's Kate Bush; she transcends us all :sunflower: I feel like she uses her special Kate Bush powers to compel people to listen to/share her wonderful music  So, this is Kate Bush's doing, lol, not my own.

I see what you mean, she's clearly the droid we're all looking for!

I must admit I have a weakness for rockabilly boys, and here are the best of them (apparently the Germans DO have a sense of humour) covering my kiwi homegirl's song. I heart it :)

She does, her spirit already took hold of Noel Fielding...

Ah feck it, let's have the whole thing as I go afk for some expressive (read: silly) dancing of my own.
Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

Heh; the topic of pop music came up with a friend of mine. While I'm not much of a fan of pop music in general I guess, it's probably mostly the way it's overly produced stuff. In terms of composition, melody and writing I can appreciate quite a lot of "popmusic".

Actually found this the youtube channel this song is on quite refreshing with all the 1920's to 1940's covers and some other oddball styles.

But then again; I sometimes enjoy some klezmer stuff as well.

Oh, and I actually quite like Robyn Adele Anderson's voice in most of the stuff on that channel as well :)
