Got music channel on on Sky now listening to 80's music.

Currently "Bananarama" and "I heard a rumour" has just started.

As explained in a nested YouTube comment (which is hard to find in their new format), the song is a metaphor about not being able to break a drug abuse problem and how the abuser sees things differently when high -- around 1:20, she doesn't have a bike anymore. The woman (who is also the background voice in the song) comes off the high when the bridesmaid is seen -- the groom (who is the lead singer in the band) is actually a metaphor for the drug.

Anyway, I completely forgot to post this upon news of Tom Petty:

So now I see OkRad already had said this, although I didn't perceive it while scanning previous postings. Somehow, I think the reason of me reflecting your great contribution. And I find it difficult not to react to something that beautiful.

The question to me is whether Steeleye Span is a kind of Ireland or a sibling of Bob Dylan / Tom Petty.
