What song are you listening to right now?

Haha... Its crazy how a song I heard when I was like 7 years old has stuck with me all my life...
Its still cool even though now it is probably considered "old school" and maybe even cheesy, but deep down... It always says what it needs to say... : )

Sometimes we need someone to tell us it's gonna be okay... Sometimes there is no one around to do that, so really good people have used technology to help us, when others can't or won't... : )

This is not a song I would throw out there for my family or friends (in the real world) to hear...
However I wish I had the guts to do so... Because this is how I feel most all the time
Most people have probably heard this, but I like to hear it every now and then... If only to KNOW I'm not the only one, and there are others like me...
Even though it seems that most the world could easily live without us. : )

Yesterday was one of those days where LIFE tried its best to mentally beat the crap out of me.
Instead of scream and fight and make it ALL worse... This is my choice of warfare... : )

How does this guy have so much control over his words saying (singing) them so fast?
On top of that the song is "deep" if you actually listen to the words... : )

A couple more from Paul Kelly - this is his "sorry, I ****ed up" song.

The first time I heard this, I swear I thought it related to a case in my home state. As I remember it the newspaper had a very short paragraph along the lines of "a group of men from (lakeside suburb) town found the body of a young woman in the creek in (mountainous national park) when they arrived on Friday night. They reported the find to police on the Sunday after their return." I learned later that it was based on an American short story., which makes sense in retropect, because he would have been sued otherwise. I tried to google the case a while ago, but could not find anything, so I have no idea if it actually happened as life imitating art or if I imagined it.o_O
