I'm listening to this wonderful--and VERY dirty--record by the Baltimore Consort. With songs such as "My Thing Is My Own" and "My Man John Had a Thing That Was Long," I think it might be the only classical record I've heard that would deserve a "Parental Advisory" sticker. (Sadly, they didn't do any of these songs when I saw them in concert several years ago.)

Amazon.com: The Art of the Bawdy Song: The Baltimore Consort & Merry Companions, James F. Weaver, Peter Becker, Paul Shipper, Henry Aldrich, Anonymous, Straloch Lute Book Anonymous, John Blow, John Church, Vladimir Cosma: Music

Amazing song! I can really connect to Florence + The Machine songs like no other musician(s). Listening to her songs really help me feel free and I can escape from the world all the while they're playing :D I LOVE Florence + The Machine so much!! Florence is literally my favourite singer of all time :'D

Ever since seeing them a few months ago, I have a new obsession with Phish, and I've been downloading sets and listening to them at work.

Phish

Surprised to find someone here that even knows VNV... or at least shares something of VNV.

This got me looking into VNV nation again and replay a few of my favorites; including this

I have listened to VNV for years growing up i was a huge industrial music fan. I still love VNV Nation, and love their newest album Automatic.
it's amazing.

Praise The Fallen is definitely a classic album by them. Joy is amazing.

Guess I'm still not grown up, lol... still enjoy some industrial from time to time. End up at such raves from time to time even. Automatic has some nice songs, but in general I think none of their albums are full of great songs.. they all have a few.

Got the chance to see them live a few years ago. Kinda was like listening to a "best of" album.

So, just to stay on topic a bit, so everyone knows what we're talking about ;)

ARGH! The Goffs have taken over! LOLZ! Only joking! hehehehe

I think the closet I ever came to that genre is the amazing Type O Negative and some black Metal Like Emperor and EARLY Cradle Of Filth. I like Behemoth tho, what a disgusting, brutal and evil band... LOVE IT hahaha

Was never really a fan of Burzum and Dark Throne et all.. All a bit too right wing for me, scary bunch of nutters.

Getting a bit in the mood for later on... seeing them live in about 2 hours at a venue about 6 miles from my house.

Quite sure that'll be a party again, heh
