When does quirky turn cringy?

I play chillout radio on pandora at work. At first I got all types of looks. Soon it became the norm.

I am cringy. It's like my personality is skunk cabbage to others....trying to learn how to manage...

Sometimes it can be our special interests and what they are at a certain age. Being obsessed with transformers or Sonic the Hedgehog is considered less cringy if you are 10 as opposed to thirty.

I love it when I meet an equally oddball person in real life and can have a proper freaky conversation! :D You guys are brilliant! I would strongly suggest changing careers and working in IT, as it seems to collect weirdos like us! Every team I work with is always a hub of strange.

megacomic - There is nothing cringy about liking Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic is and will always be a gaming classic and anyone who refuses to acknowledge this fact should be taken out back and shot!

Never said liking Sonic was a bad thing. But if it your special interest that you talk about in great detail in every conversation at age 30 people will find it cringy. If you believe otherwise you might be very socially unaware.

Ok, I agree there is a line between liking and obsessing. Talking about only one thing in every single conversation would get tiring regardless of the subject.
