Which internet browser do you use? Quick Poll.

It is a bit slow, I will admit that and was already aware, but they perked it up a bit a few updates ago and I find the things I like about it are worth the sacrifice. Personal taste though, if you already like a faster one, why not stick with it?

Ok, fine, Opera it is, it takes more RAM, but has better HTML and stuff... And I like the graphics of my browser... And etc.

I mainly use Firefox, but I also use Chromium frequently.
I think I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox in 2006/2007 and have used it ever since.
While Chromium has potential to be better than Firefox, I just feel it tries fights me.

Also I'm in love with the "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" add-on.

NCSA Mosaic ---> Netscape ---> Firefox.

Used MSIE when once required only to upgrade Windows. And in website design at work given how it rendered text somewhat differently.

Have Chrome on my drive but never use it on a regular basis. Otherwise MSIE just takes up disk space for no good reason.

I use Firefox on my course, it has a built in Plugin that allows you to download YouTube videos.

For the longest time I used to use Internet Explorer because it was the only browser I knew about. Then about ten years ago I began using several different browsers to see which one I liked the best. I liked Firefox so much I decided to start using it and continue to use it today. The browser seems faster and more stable than the other browsers I tried before. I experience far less crashes with Firefox than I did with Internet Explorer.

I used to use Firefox. Now I got a different computer and Firefox just wants to keep downloading in the background. I've read up on it, tried everything, and apparantly it's just the nature of it now. With dialup I have to really limit my bandwidth. So right now I'm on Flashpeak Slimjet which seems to be working pretty well for the most part. Though I wish there was an image toggle, and a javascript toggle, that were for individual scripts and images and not just global to a website. My old Firefox had that.

Google on my devices and firefox on my laptop.

For some bizarre reason, I prefer it this way.

You're still on dial up? No offence mate but get into the 21st Century! You should be on at least ADSL if not Fibre by now.

Yes, that's about all I can get reliably. Dialup may be slow but it always works. Cable only runs a few miles out and I'm 9 miles out, even though it's the busiest county road in the county. My coworkers can't get it either. Wireless is pretty hopeless, my dad has it and during the evenings I'm faster on dialup. One of the reasons my ex didn't like it here. Viasat won't install in my area and satellite is unreliable with the lake effect weather here anyway. I think Charter (the cable monopoly) is waiting for all the rich people to pony up money to run lines to the additional areas. They quoted my neighbor $6700 to run the line to his house but he said go pound sand. Anything that requires extra bandwidth I do at the library or at work. We had another wireless company that was trying to cater to these areas like mine, but one of the local wineries made them tear down a tower because their rich customers said it spoiled their views. They built a tower in the woods behind my house but it's over a $1000 deposit plus equipment and service fees, and with the winery decision I don't know how much longer they will be around. They have very horrible reviews too.

Thankfully my electric company has always been good and they're getting tired of it. They have been working on a project to get full fiber optic internet to these areas including mine. They've already started and they say another 2-3 years they'll be finished. It will help them too when it comes to pinpointing downed lines during storms.

We were using google chrome but it will no longer allow us to access emil so we need to use internet explorer for that. We don't have any other alternatives.

For my porpuses I need at least 3 seperate ones, but I still end up using more. I use those practically weekly
