It's like my thoughts are racing cars, but what people see of the whole race is restricted to what happens at the pit stops, they don't see what happens between pit stops . . . does that make sense?

Yep, I get told I'm random often. Plus I also have DD-NOS, so I think thoughts that may be odd to other people.

No, I don't remember anyone ever saying that I was random.
Apparently I am ploddingly linear.
However, not every person immediately knows exactly the steps I take to get from
one thought to another, which is why I try to hone my explanations
so that they are clear.

"Hit or miss" wasn't a style I enjoyed when I made pot holders
from loops as a child. I wasn't random then, either.

I am so random it is not even funny. Sometime I will say something and people will ask me where I came up with that. Not sure why my thinking is that way but I am all over the place.
