Your favorite computer games

I've been playing Sim City 4 since like 2004 and it's still the best computer game out there. Over the nine years I've been playing, I've devoloped whole metropolis regions with millions and millions of citizens. Maxis is coming out with a new version this year; but for me SC4 will always be king.

I also have gotten into the zoo/rollercoaster/railroad tycoon games over the years. Everyone I ask about them seem to think they're boring, but I see some fans here. It's got to be an Aspie thing.

my favorite computer game would have to be Call of Duty: United Offensive but right now I don't have a computer that runs it very well. I have played it since it first came out. there are still plenty of people playing it online to this day. I like playing the Sims as well as Roller Coaster Tycoon but with my current computer, it's not a gaming friendly system.

Hey guys! For those of you who are interested, I just completed writing my review on the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC. Please do drop a comment to tell me what you guys think. :)

I used to be a big Half Life fan. I liked the mods and all the games. Half Life was my favourite game. I don't really have a favourite game anymore. I like Team Fortress 2 and im Trying to get into LoL though. :)

Haha LoL is too stressful for me, DOTA2 even more so. But if you can triumph LoL mentally, you've already achieved something you can be proud off. It's actually a lot more difficult than I anticipated.

My all time favorite would have to be Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Gold Edition (Deluxe Edition + the Acceleration add-on pack). I've been playing MSFS since it was on the big floppy disks. 5.5" I think? Played every version since. Currently I can't play it due to the fact that my throttle had to be tossed due to the fact it was beyond repair :( I was using a Saitek X45 and absolutely loved it and once I can get the $ I'm getting another one! I'd PREFER to just get the throttle since my joystick is fine but ya you know how that goes.....

Another fav is the Need For Speed Series (does drinking a beer while playing this constitute drinking and driving?? I hope not lol seriously though..don't drink & drive). Played just about every version. Fav would have to be the classic Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit, and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Eventually I'll go out and purchase the entire series again...but once again that requires $ LOL

I STILL remember playing Duke Nukem 3D when I was younger along with some certain modifications I had installed heh (hey, I'm a guy...can ya blame me????).

Then there's the FPS (First Person Shooters)...... True Combat, which is a Quake III Arena mod (totally awesome one at that! I have screenshots I can post if y'all want!), along with America's Army, which I haven't played in a WHILE (need a better system honestly lol). One of my friends quit playing Me at True Combat because I would always snipe him, but wouldn't tell him where I was. D U H! A Sniper is supposed to remain hidden. lol I'm not gonna give away my hiding places!

If you're into real time Strategy type games, there's the oh so awesome Command & Conquer Series. OF that....I would say C&C Generals, C&C Generals: Zero Hour, along with C&C 3: Tiberium Wars are My top 3 favs. I have a TON of maps for Generals, and General's Zero hour, along with a rather nasty mod for Generals that makes the nukes even MORE powerful (which is great if you like to blow stuff up lol).

I used to love MSFS! Haven't played it in ages. It did lose a little of its sheen once I flew a real plane a few times...

lol interestingly enough, it was while playing FS2K that I was first dubbed "Maverick" due to my wild antics while flying a Tomcat :D

I used to love the NASCAR stock car racing simulation games for PC that Papyrus made back in the day. Specifically, NASCAR Racing 3 and NASCAR Legends were my favorites. They were realistic, yet they were still easy enough that you could play them and have fun pretty much from the beginning. It also helped that you could save races in the middle. It's fun doing 500 mile races but it's pretty much impossible to do it in one sitting. LOL

oh I LOVE the Gran Turismo series. only played it on PS1 & 2. Fav HAS to be Gran Turismo 3 I think. ahhh I DO love My '69 Chevy Camaro. rarely lose a race with that beauty :)

I want Bioshock Infinite.
I loved the first game. Very creepy and moody down in the depths of the ocean.
Big Daddies and Little Sisters.

This game is up in the clouds in a 1912 Steampunk sort of world.

I can safely say if you ever do pick it up you won't be disappointed. I'm trying to work it out now and get a review out sometime this week.

I liked the Gran Turismo games that I played too. I mostly played the ones for the PS1. Another series of racing games that I've enjoyed are the Forza Motorsports games for the Xbox and Xbox 360. I have Forza 2 for 360 and I've really enjoyed playing it since I got it. The damage model is pretty realistic and you really do seem to feel a difference when you are driving different cars.

Thank you guys for reading and liking that post, I'm glad you guys enjoyed reading it. I'll keep you posted as I write new articles, I was thinking about doing vlogs about my work at Chorus games every once a week or so to complement the content on the blog.

My favorite games of all time have been the Resident Evil zombie games. After I move and some money frees up I'm actually gonna by the original games on eBay (yes the PS1) :) just because I miss that franchise so much ..
