Your favourite Christian art

I am going to go with this now and forget about looking for an outstanding photo of Christ on a rug we had in our family home when I was growing up. I was just looking at it as well a few days ago lol.

Well when I read online none of the supposed number of Black Madonna were actually black I had to bite. There are are some countries were they had been spinning it as black in Europe to be no longer declared as black after some good cleaning as well.

Anyway, positivity here I come. I have been getting this sense that some of us has been in some kind of hard winter as well and we have some time and road ahead of us to get through and we must remain in good and intact to do so. Therefore things like hours on searches on line for no effect as such is not happening for me and letting go the trivial.

Things like SAD lamps may be helpful to some people. I need to pull it out for myself again at home tomorrow. A hard winter as I said to God just today I think. We should support eachother to get through it.

I found one picture we had of Christ on the wall. I saw the art photo of the tree and I liked it yesterday. Who has seen a tree and seen it as a protective armor as like God has wrapped around us all and I got that sense when I was at Battersea Park.

The artist I found through the Medodist Church website on art. The artist is called Nicholas Mynheer - Rest on the flight to Egypt.

Anyway, I was delighted to run into the above for a change and Saint Thea Bowman as well.

I am on a bit of a spinner, or was it a whirlwind CC knocking me out again with the wind.
Right I resume normality. Well if you are of the curious you may be wondering as well. For some may escape me as well. I come again before the world went up on itself after the BLM I presume. Two galleries disappeared from a museum which I wanted to get tickets for a while. I heard about a number of times in hospital being promoted and extoled as a pass timer when I sat dining have you been. Even Russian Orthodox Christian staff used to flitter there to pass there and loved the science element. More patients and wow what was I waiting just the right time. I looked couldn't quite get looked a must right. Never did the accusation come into my mind and I am black goodness me.

Ok few months after BLM two I think exhibitions went down up release it is a racism what we discussed we need to go. I never thought racism and you asking mE to come well. How can you say racism did you go back and ask him if he under. It is history and not sweep once seen. Now defend or else now you will look like it.

Ableist was one of them. Now was there help then but to remove and what not to mine at time worth visiting I kid you not.

Now another few years click again. Excuse did this I this. We have obtained a Mother and Child and now they are black as well and come and see while you can. And on where you get this from this from I am trying to work it out if you will. I didn't see it is real. And why is it doing in a museum of all that has nothing to do with Christanity it is not a church or shrine. You may take another step it is real. Hmm how may I ask is this for real black to made black or if the soot was wiped and restored was you know a lighter colour behind.

Gotcha shaking I was looking. Why here though, you came. Now I am praying get me out of here to the royal academy please. Excuse me breathes how do I get station. Ok, thank you hiccup for wellcoming me.

Portrait of Jesus created using AI to estimate his facial features - by artist Bas Uterwijk

Wow, I looked and said wow.
Now I see the AI hum, someone just wrote quick AI means Artifcal number artifical intelligence yes. Ok, you your artifical number quickly means artifical robot. further the robot has less brains than me as well. What is of it if you don't mind saying seek advise for someone a brighter than yourself not less, who does that. I think it may work different for a search engine write and art intreptation. It makes a very rough idea saying it how I see it whatever it to be.

Take with a pinch of salt, it's sort of a bit of fun but not claiming to represent anything real.
What the guy does is takes classic portraits of famous figures, and using AI and other digital techniques, represents them in the form of a photograph.

He's not doing some magic to discover what the original person may have looked like, just an interesting image of what they may have looked like, based on portraits that are rarely accurate as we think of accuracy (photorealistic etc). They are mostly symbolic of what culture caused their creation, and they'll reflect the characteristics common to that culture (like making Jesus appear as a caucasian, etc).

Interesting but not fundamental to anything but art, I'd say.

I’ve always like Michelangelo’s Last Judgment and the Sistine Chapel ceiling. I’ve always wanted to go to the Vatican to specifically see the Sistine Chapel in person.

Sometimes cranking my self upwards like Deborah Meaden to take a look or two I cannot see in my eyes what is 3 D or 2 D or a painting or sculpture sometimes. I must admit it will confuse me at times.
In front of course I will be able to tell. I kid you not. Me and younger brother as children ran into some bother at home me under 10. Just missing around started spraying a hideous amount of spray in family home. Then we both lept out of our skin and fled the room. In the room seemed to be us only described a grannie lady in a chair. We left told noone only we mutal what we saw. Now I was getting worried one day. Reached for blessed water threw in my bedroom. Now I read if that childhood guardian is not wanting round here never wanting now leave and I was waiting to see if my photo frame would move. It was a cold day. Never saw it again.

Was imaging some of these art curious about waiting to see if I can detect movement from I was there to see if it was ok.

I must say I am intrigued by the wellcome. Either way I love she was black like comely. Love it to pass authenticity checks.

The most beautiful art and carving of the Mother and Child I have ever seen was at a childhood Catholic church. It was so simple and divine. The way she held him and as a loving mother could. I fell at my knees I had to. I went to take the photo for a family whose was looking for childbirth who I thought may like the photo.

Now the box-an another artistic tour. I took this in my primary Catholic church. It is an Emery box. I thought perhaps it was there own Arc of the Convenant with sealed item in the silver sculpted box. No what is in it Baptism oils and oils needed for special services.

I must say the trees have been giving me and seeing the Israelites again under the tree a soothing call. I didn't even know if it existed because I have not heard for so long I was unsure.

When I think of the trees and the protective branches I sway back forewards and say simply.

El Shaddai

But El Shaddai is another name for God Almighty and you linger on EL Shaddai

It seems I may have heard the reverse El Shadda as well.

Have a good weekend everyone.

I always like a David and Goliath story. For David looks quite tiny, good position to be in many a time in life.

From the Good Book itself, an update on the above photo. The Goaliath is the Philistine.

I thought how taken I was by the pictures of the trees and how it moved me deeply that I would leave an uphold the names of God in the Old Testament.

I have rebooked to go the museum this week. I hope that it happens this time. There is a art session on Saturday also and I do hope to attend as well.

I can't find a copy now, but The Watchtower once published an illustrated story about Jesus enlightening the Disciples. The description of their visible auras or halos "like tongues of fire" inspired the artist to draw a group of men in robes sitting around looking startled because they were sprouting flames typical of an oil lamp from the tops of their heads.

Thank you Shevek for poiting that out.

Easter is not too far off on the Christian calendar and I love Pentecost myself. I wonder what my church will do this year as well.

My church put on a art workshop today and the piece of art that we worked on was this picture attached-the Samarian woman at Jacob's well and Jesus (John 4) ended up giving her a much greater gift-the gift of everlasting water from Jesus.

Judge what you posted thr carving or painting. I cannot tell but it was moving.

Your post made me relook on the Royal Academy of Arts website as I had pretty much given up going there this year because of physical challenges but what you wrote about Michaelango made me check it again.

However, I took another look at saw and saw a Michaelango painting and knew I had to go and see it. The one on the free exhibition is titled the Last Supper and you can see it by clicking the link. The original exhibition I wanted to see I managed to obtain tickets again today thankfully and that exhibition ends on Sunday. That is of Michaelango Leonardo and Raphael.

Now a mixture of health and Internet jargon caused me to not see before and distress also. For what they were calling not ok and they are unknown my rector knew it was it was fine when I showed them. For what I grew up from the cradle as much and others as well. Mr or mrs over opinionated who does not know what they are talking about.lol. Anyway glad that is over.

I saw this art today on a church newsletter. It is a Norman Rockwell The Golden Rule and it is based on Do Good to Others who we all should try and remember. That comes from Matthew.

I finally got myself to the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

This is showing in the free collection at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. The text next to it was photographed also. Taken when visited.

It's a life-size sculpture by Michelangelo. Some to think it may have been one of his best works. Another masterpiece my mother got to see in person while visiting the Vatican.

"The Madonna della Pietà colloquially known as La Pietà is a Roman Catholic Italian Carrara marble sculpture of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary at Mount Golgotha."
