  • The disparity between what could do with $25,000 a year compared to $25,000,000 a year is shocking.

Why is it shocking that anything 1,000 times bigger than another thing would be different?

It's more like their lifestyles are radically different, not to mention how one could easily amass more wealth than the other even without earning any more.
I never knew they had coding magazines. They're pretty interesting.

What do you 2 coders in a relationship? Code Dependants. I just thought of that joke just now!

Read old cookbooks published before the 1960s. Those recipes will use pantry staples to make hearty delicious meals, like grandma used to craft. Buy meat in bulk, and cut it up at home, into meal sized portions. I go to a restaurant supply chain that sells cheap groceries in bulk. Buy big bags of flour, giant boxes of 6 dozen eggs, big bags of potatoes, carrots, apples, and cabbage.

If you go to Panda Express, you can get the Family Meal for around 40 dollars. It sounds expensive, but you get three large entrees, each about 2 pounds each of meat. And you get two medium sides. A large soda with no ice is almost 2 liters, and only $2.99. So you're getting fresh meat and veggies, already prepared, for only 40 bucks. There's enough food in the family meal to feed six.
Walking home in the dark is terrifying.😰

I'm sorry for you. I know what feeling real scared is like, though walking in the dark isn't what does it for me. I love walking for hours at night.
I can't stand sudden changes to the weather.

Agreed. Woke up to 34 degrees Fahrenheit at 7am this morning. Finally having to turn on the heat. Ugh.

LOL, 28 deg F here in northcentral Jefferson (Siskiyou County) this morning. I've known it to get so cold here that the INSIDE of my door is coated in frost.
When it comes to subjects that ordinary people talk about, like relationships and stuff, I'm lost, but when I meet that special person that shares my interests, like science and math, friendships are a lot easier.
    Science is fun.

None of my experiments in [Intro To] Chemistry went like they were supposed to, but I liked physics, though. I missed a lot of classes on electricity due to sick days, so I wiped out on that topic. Years later, I learned it just fine in my US Navy coursework.
Anybody else was good at math when they were younger?

I was top-of-the-class in my first three years of math. I was really confused about the point of matrix math at the end of my third year. Between that and the looming homework load, I did not take the fourth-year Trig/Pre-calc class.

I had enough trigonometry in junior high school to keep up in the physics class.
Ever wonder why some people call Autumn Fall?

I think a lot about words and am intrigued by them, and "Autumn" is interesting in several ways: the "au" sound, having "U" twice, the silent "N".

    Spring & Fall are English-based.
    Ver* (< vernal) & Autumn are Latin-based.

    FYI,...
When an animal sleeps through the winter, they "hibernate."
When they sleep through the summer, they "estivate."

Spring is my favourite season. Autumn sucks.
Apparently, walking for long periods of time is good for the brain, and something common that geniuses have in common. Good to know my restless feet has a purpose.

I walked for longer than eleven hours yesterday. It's not unusual usually, but I hadn't done that in some months. How smart does that make me?
Someone fell today, and it was my fault (though I had just finished mopping). On the outside, my face was as blank as wood, but on the inside I was hopping she was okay and didn't need any surgery.

Hope she is okay. It's hard to deal with the repercussions from mistakes, even if they are small ones - hopefully, everyone is okay, you can learn from it and move on.

I often have trouble whenever someone asks me to change my plans. It kinda sends me through a loop, and wrecks my routine.
