  • It's perfectly normal to wear the same color shirts everyday. That's what Steve Jobs did (I think he was autistic).
Sometimes, I get so wrapped in a subject that I lose track of time, and sometimes annoy people when I talk about it too much.
Ever had those moments where you see something that's not on the shelf properly at the store and you just can't help but to put it back in its place?
Anyone else also have ADHD along with autism? Are they related by any chance?
Very few things are worse than having managers scrutinize your work and your "odd" personality and voice.

That is tough. I was once told to control my vocal inflection. I just thought, "Dude, this is me controlling my vocal inflection."
Somehow the plumbing in the house and at work got messed up. Why me? Hopefully, tomorrow it will be better.
I wish I can come across as nice and socially competent as the people around me...

Yeah I wish I was neurotypical at least on some days to at least start up or maintain a social life. I'm always behind
It's nice to be appreciated at work for being organized (even though I would go crazy if I didn't put everything in it's place).

There was a character in the audiobook I just listened to who did that,
organized everything. He went missing for a while and since he's
invisible the only way people could tell was because things became
    disorderly in his absence.

That's sounds like me in a nutshell. Like today when I came in, everything was a mess and I was everywhere fixing everything, and then disappeared in the back when things quieted down.
Being touched can really overload the senses sometimes. But it's also hard telling others that because it makes me feel like an oversensitive jerk.

I completely get it. For me, it's less being touched and more someone's voice. But try telling someone "please stop talking because the tone of voice is sending me into meltdown". Not the greatest way to break the ice.

Agreed with both ^. Also difficult to explain to someone that being near them while they are chewing makes my brain go wacky.
Please do not talk to others while they are eating, not only is that poor manners, but it is a choking hazard. The body can either swallow or breathe, never both.

More like Person A should not force Person B to talk, even if in polite conversation if Person B are in the process of chewing and swallowing.

    OK.
I couldn't see how Person B hearing words would result in a choking hazard.

But you meant, don't try to elicit a spoken response from a person with
    food in their mouth.

    That would be correct.
