Answer a QUESTION with a QUESTION

As a general principle, isn't it wise to be at least a little suspicious in many common, every day interactions that take place with one's fellow humans?
 
Is there a specific word we could use that would mean 'the state of being simultaneously trusting and suspicious,' like maybe "trusticious"?
