Answer a QUESTION with a QUESTION

Isn't it true that an apostrophe is used

1) to make a name possessive (David's car)

2) to compound two words (when it's time to leave; there's more)?

Why do I get pleasure from being ignorant about all of these pop culture references, but at the same time, I feel compelled to look them up? Is it just that it's a way for me to be unique? Am I violating the thread rules by asking three questions at once instead of "a question"?

Do you tend to wake at night with myriads of relevant questions circling within your brain like dirty water going down a drain?

Do the thoughts spill out and remain like a stain where I've lain, or do they pool like rain at the base of my brain with the possibility for me to regain?

Have you ever heard the theory that really, really clever people inevitably imagine that other people are cleverer?

If you look at it carefully, isn't it really just a bunch of Cs that think they're special because they're first in line?

Why would someone who's so clever be getting a bunch of Cs for their grades?
