I was not insulted a tiny bit ;)

The thought was to inject a lil humor into your post

I live in a town where the entire IQ would not even make a hockey score

It scares me :fearful:

Where are you!? I'm an implant from IL to AR now heading to FL..for similar reasons! (Do you know me?) lol

Not exactly, but possibly very similar … Fortunately I'm not 'there' anymore … but I wish I had known you, things wouldn't have been so horrible! It wasn't AR, and I won't say which state because I'd hate to piss off an entire state (especially since it's such a big one! :tonguewink:) I often get accused of generalizing, but I'm describing a specific group of people from direct observation. Having made that disclaimer, I'm sure there are similar towns elsewhere. So sorry you had to live in one, and congrats on your move! When I was preparing to leave, one of the more well-balanced adults commented that I was 'brave' to move away on my own … I bit my tongue to keep from saying "I'd be stupid not to!!"

I always say "they are dumber than a box of rocks....who ties their shoes?"

Whew! I kinda suspected, but I wasn't sure. I'd compare my experience to golf, though … they always kept striving for a lower score! :tonguewink:

Any advice on not comin across as awkward when talking to friends or those "frienemies!"??

I wish I knew how … I like to think friends will understand, and I just try to avoid everyone else. If you figure out the answer, let us know!

Truth of the matter is that even with brain damage,I may take the MENSA test this fall...my 156 IQ makes me eligible,I just hope I can find marijuana as good as I smoked when I was last tested...and the government says it makes you stupid...I have some issues with that

We could start a thread about dangerous & harmful lies told by government … ugh!

The thing about MJ is, it helps take the edge off intolerance from others … maybe if they smoked it they'd chill & have more tolerance for us. That's the answer! Mandatory MJ for everyone! We may not accomplish much, but we'd all get along much better.

Can we please move this discussion elsewhere and get the thread back on topic?

Thanks.

Sorry, my bad.

The best line from The Lion King: You gotta put your behind … in your past! (either Timone or Puumba, I can never keep their names straight)

"You see, I've still got a couple of qualms. Derek. Umm...What exactly is his situation? He's uh...He's different."
"Yeah, he's different. Yeah. I mean he's the most popular. kindest, best worker anyone here has ever met. So he is different, yeah"
"That's not what I meant. I mean, is he, uh...Is he handicapped?"
"Yeah, he's too nice for his own good."
"No, I meant could he be autistic?"
(Derek enters the room with someone else, talking) Derek: "Well what if the chimp had a gun? Then the bear..."
Derek's friend: "Well where's the chimp going to get a gun from?"
Derek: "I don't know. Off a policeman who wasn't concentrating."
