You can send this one back if you want the one Misery suggested.
I did not know Misery suggested one. Now I am upset I missed that. I will look to see if I can find that. Thank you.

I am afraid to try tech things.
Does this translate into FPS game-play ability?
More than anything thank you for the encouragement. It matters more to me than anything. I am used to giving up because growing up everyone got so frustrated with me so fast all the time I stopped trying. It is hard to learn not to do that now. I am very gentle when I teach people knot tying or lock picking or sailing. I do not want other people to feel that way.
Thank you
Okay I hate to point this out to you after you already placed an order, but you could instead go with something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Wi...721178717&sprefix=usb+blu,aps,136&sr=8-6&th=1
I hope that link works. The one you picked needs to be fully installed into the PC. The one in that second link is just like, a USB thing, just stick it in a hole, boom, done. USB gizmos are like that. Pop them in, chances are, the computer knows what to do.
Kudos.I'm useless at a lot of things, but the one thing I'm 100% confident about is that I'm really absurdly fast at most things.
I bought the adapter. I hope I can figure out how to install it. It looks easy but people say you need drivers and I don't know how to get those. Also they said you have to connect the Bluetooth connector/wire first. I don't know what that is.
Misery told me what to buy so I cancelled this order and bought an external one. ChaptGPT said for my set up it would be better for the signal.Check here....for Windows 10/11 drivers for the Archer TX55E. Also check to find out exactly which hardware version you have. This pertains to driver downloads for version V2.8.
The network adapter you purchased should include a standard bluetooth header cable tht should plug into a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard.

Here's a video of a slightly different model but it may answer your questions:
Never buy anything "renewed". ASUS has a bit of a public relations problem at the moment. I used to trust their stuff....but not any more. Seems they treat their customers rather poorly and some big names in online tech are calling them on it. (See Steve Burke- Gamers Nexus on YouTube.) Better off to look at the LG brand for an equivalent, IMO.
Oh. I found this, I do not think it is renewed. I will do what you say and not buy renewed but could you tell me why I should not buy renewed. This one is new I think.Never buy anything "renewed".
It's just my subjective opinion, but at the moment I wouldn't buy anything manufactured recently by ASUS. Read about them in YouTube. They seem to be "at war" with their own customers when it comes to returned items. Then consider that Amazon is not the seller in this instance. BAD combination....Oh. Thank you very much for this advice. I did not know any of this. As for buying something "renewed", you may just be buying someone's problem. Why risk it?

Better off looking at LG monitors. Just understand upgrading to a higher resolution offers a better picture, but in gaming you may find yourself having to lower the detail to raise frame rates if that's important to you. Assuming you presently game at 1080p, have you considered this?
I really stay away from buying such items from Amazon unless they are both the shipper and the seller. In this instance you could get burned by both ASUS and Asuza-LoT (whoever they are). Note the seller has only a 72% positive rating. PASS!
You mentioned moving your tv to your desk by your PC. Have you considered moving your PC to be near your tv instead? I like sitting on a couch to play games quite a lot more than sitting at my desk. I already do that enough for my job.
Thank you very much for this advice. I did not know any of this. I will look at something by LG.
I connected my old 55 inch LCD television. I think it looked very bad compared to my PC monitor which had much better color and details. Here is a video I made.
Have you tried changing the settings on the screen itself?
Sometimes hooking a device up to a screen will just immediately work out, but other times, if you want good results, you have to adjust the screen. Regardless of what you're hooking up to it.
For example, when I bring my Xbox up north and use it on my screen up there, the picture doesnt actually fit properly and the colors are off. So, I need to adjust the screen's settings to do that (every single freaking time), so it fits and looks right.
Most modern TVs and monitors have a lot of settings that can be changed. Typically it can take a good bit of experimenting to see what kinds of changes are possible. Sometimes it's real easy, sometimes it's real annoying, it just depends on the screen itself really.
Could be at least worth a try.
This is only generalised information and there'll be exceptions out there, but as a general rule computer monitors have many more pixels per inch than a TV and that's where the difference in image quality stands out.
Another big difference between a monitor and a TV is the response time - how quickly the monitor can update changes in the image. In the image you posted above the monitor advertises a 1 milisecond response time which is pretty good, most TVs have a response time of around 25 milliseconds.
