Islamic Quotes

So ... regardless of preferences or yearnings and cravings:

Allah says in 2:286
Allah does not task any soul beyond its capacity. Whatever [good] it earns is to its own benefit, and whatever [evil] it incurs is to its own harm
. ‘Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or make mistakes! Our Lord! Do not place upon us a burden as You placed on those who were before us! Our Lord! Do not lay upon us what we have no strength to bear! Excuse us, forgive us, and be merciful to us! You are our Master, so help us against the faithless lot!’

Edit: It's sad to disobey Allah

I guess if Allah gave us more than we could handle, that would make Him evil. Which He is not. Is that fair to say?

In my humble opinion, the answer is in one word: Yes.

But what can you (edit: or me) do about it? Allah guides and misguides as He wish. He misguides only "The Corrupt". Because He sent his Prophet(s) with Truth. Unlike fake "Love"

I'm ASD 1, and and i have not seen kindness from Norwegian people or Trump - they are maybe on the same team. It is not allowed to be double-opinionated, not willingly.

Prophet Mohammed (saws):

There are two virtues unexcelled by anything better: faith in God and being of benefit to God’s servants. There are two iniquities unsurpassed by anything worse: associating something with God and causing harm to God’s servants.

It seems Norway is extremely generous and kind to allow you to live in that country. They could have refused and shipped you back to the Middle East, which is what Trump says he will do with you if you illegally entered the USA or over-stayed your visa duration.

I don't know why lunarious feels Norway has not been welcoming. But, maybe we can be more welcoming here. And no one has to participate in these Islam threads if they don't like them.

I admire lunarious for believing in something bigger than himself. So many posters here are fixated on their IQs and sense of correcting others. They believe in their self-image, which is smaller than what they are.

I don't know why lunarious dislikes Norway, either. Many people believe in something bigger than themselves, and many people here have started threads about their own religious beliefs and practices. Most people don't want to read antisemitic or Christianity-bashing threads, even if they are atheists or do not believe in a higher power. Everyone, including @lunarious, should aspire to be less tone-deaf about other's religious beliefs.

... The Law is one. God is one, in Iraq or Norway. There are certain people whom does not follow The Law. (eidt) like Israeli/Jewish in our time.

To an xtent Norway is generous, but they don't talk to me. So, i get sick. Materially i'm wealthy. But spiritually i'm dying. I shouldn't have to chose. (edit) if my Spirit dies then i'll go to Hell.

I wouldn't say Trump is better representation of The Law than Prophets, or God. (edit) or recently I saw The President Roosevelt.

That's your generosity.

Many people do not and never will follow Islam. The ongoing violent religious war in the Middle East makes many people uncomfortable to read about the promotion of any one religion as the only "true religion" and the denigration of others' religions. America still mourns the thousands of people it lost on 9/11. We all need to respect others' religious beliefs but many will never forget or forgive what was done to innocent Americans and Jewish people in Israel.

I am not a Trump supporter so please don't ascribe anything Trump-related to me!

I respect The Law.

There has been Norwegian personell whom Norway dis-likes because these personell are Nihilists or baseless.

So the personell litterally based themselves on me physically (as metaphorically mine-stomper) and it seems mentally and emotionally.

I don't understand what you're saying about Norwegians. Norway does not coerce religion or religious beliefs on anyone as far as I know. It's a very open-minded country with wonderful, generous people. I think you're lucky to be there.

Norway put another Law besides Allah's Law. The Deity get's divided, which it shouldn't.

The Deity is one Deity.

Norway is a free country. People can worship or not worship as they please. May it ever be so!

Edit: God knows best

If God approves, USA and Norway can sanction Iran and Iraq stopping Israelis murdering people

Edit: It happens God is on Iraq and Iran's side

Edit3: grammatical error

Do you know what "tone-deaf" means? Look it up, please. Consider other people's feelings before you post something like this.

Regarding tone-deaf

I've been practising Guitar since 2010, since i got into Compulsory treatment.

[Compulsion (and belt-bed)] and Guitar started same time.

... Norway had me in compulsion since i got tumor, in 2003-2004.

Edit: I googled tone-deaf but I don't understand it.

I haven't been following this thread extremely closely, but there's a fine line between expressing positive views, thoughts and feelings about one's own religion related purely to one's own life experience and proselytizing. Isn't proselytizing against forum rules? What is proselytizing? Is it only actively and only obviously trying to get others to join your specific religion (there are tens upon tens of thousands of religions in the world)?

Or, does proselytizing also include rhetoric that tells people that they need to join your particular faith out of thousands or if not, they're going to hell, etc.? I believe this kind of thing is proselytizing as well.

I hope the mods can get together and really pin down what is and what is not acceptable posting related to religion so there are fewer grey areas.

Having grown up in an extreme religious household and born into a faith that believes that it's THE one "true faith" (ie Catholicism), I feel very thankful that I was able to break from that and I feel very thankful that I see others as fellow human beings rather than as "souls" or as adversaries. Loving people for being people rather than for who they believe in or don't believe in. Even so, reading about any kind of religion that preaches hard core views against people (ie non-believers), up to and including violence against them is very triggering for me. I've lived through that and I know first hand how dangerous and damaging that can be.

When does expressing positivity about one's own religious beliefs (for themselves) become proselytizing?

For the record, I ask this question as applicable to ANY religion.

I don't like "Jehovas Witnesses" either. According to what i've heard or seen. About them.

Chapther Al-Kafirun says:

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

Say, ‘O faithless ones! I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship; nor will I worship what you have worshipped, nor will you worship what I worship. To you your religion, and to me my religion.’

Based on that:
Norway welcomed me/my family as Political Refugee away from Saddam. It turned out that Norway Submitted and Defenestrated me, like it was done to my father. But you are right, we should make the world better by acts of kindness, and not proletyzing.

I apologize any rudeness from. My message is God and The Law is one. Not two.

proselytize

verb

pros·e·ly·tize ˈprä-s(ə-)lə-ˌtīz

proselytized; proselytizing
Synonyms of proselytize
intransitive verb

1
: to induce someone to convert to one's faith

^ What do you mean by your "message"'? Do you feel like your intention, goal, hope, etc by you quoting things about your religion is that it will prompt other members of this forum to join your religion? If so, that's proselytizing.
