Ratings symbols - possible additions

So, the bomb would be when someone posts something that totally amazes you, gives you a whole new way of looking at something? Like, oh, wow AMAZING! ?

And the pi symbol which I initially thought of as like this:stew: would be the Greek letter? Cool. And that's to signify, this idea has given me something to think about?

Plus you would use the doughnut, :doughnut: to say hey, don't argue, calm down and have a doughnut? Do you picture a chocolate doughnut? Which surely is a fine doughnut?
I can see that with some of those that there might be a problem with interpretation, I mean, if I see a bomb symbol applied to my post, I might not understand whether the person is amazed, or shocked/devastated. I wouldn't get the psi symbol, I might think that it is something like psyche. I wouldn't get the doughnut, either, unless it were explained. I'd think that it's a torus that symbolises infinity or something :)

You make some good points.

I notice that currently when I add an emoji rating, it's function name comes up beside it, but I only learned that through using it, whereas the emojis are supposed to signal an approximate meaning visually.

To me, and this may be my lack of visual abilities, coupled with a lack of intuition, some of the emojis are guessable, but the ones for useful and creative were not intuitively understood by me, and I still often use the heart in 2 ways, to mean sympathy, and to mean friendly. Sometimes I think it could mean I feel friendly towards the OP...

Yes a bomb wouldn't be intuitive for me, although it does express a big reaction, like wow!

@Progster , do you have alternative ideas for these?

Well, the peace symbol could be a gun with a flower in the barrel... or just a flower.
A meditative one, a cross-legged figure in a yoga position, or perhaps just a brain with thinking bubbles coming up from it.

Id like one for you're an antisemite .2. I don't know, the latter quote should be carved on my gravestone, another one, please G-d read some posts on this forum before you ask a question that we endlessly answer, another one if you don't have autistic neurology I can't explain what you want !.

I'm very picture based and it's shattering speaking in neurotypical .

Well I'm pretty sure from what @Nitro said earlier on this thread, that we won't be able to have emojis that represent negative statements. The mods feel they would lead to conflict, I think. Maybe we can think of friendly ways of saying your points?
