@Tired really was getting VERY close.snow?
Ah, this time you were faster than meFrosty the snowman
A very nice riddle!@1ForAll Don't have to be him in particular but snowman is the answer. If a snowman were alive, the sun would surely kill him and billions of microscopic organisms live within the ice from which he is formed.
Hair or caloriesCut me and I shall yet grow.
I shall feel no pain if you do so.
What you ate a month ago
At half an inch I'll let you know.
What am I ?
Which one and why?Hair or calories

until i buy us some popcorn, don't allow anyone in front of you in the queue!for how long?
Sorry if this is off topic and not a riddle. Just an observation on diatomaceous earth. I always chuckle when folks think of it as somehow a more "humane" insecticide alternative not realizing how it actually works. It may not have some of the nasty impact of insecticides on mammals but it is an absolute horror show for the insects consuming it. I'd dare say it's probably a worse fate for insects than actual insecticide. At least proper insecticide is quick.@1ForAll
A diatom exoskeleton which is made of silica is sharp like a razor
Yet soft it feels when millions of them as diatomaceous earth sit inside thy hand.
It is used as an alternative form of insecticide therefore a flea upon it would not wish to be.
That was actually the answer to the riddle that I had previously posted.Sorry if this is off topic and not a riddle. Just an observation on diatomaceous earth. One of my favorite insecticide alternatives is the use of pheromone confusion. Essentially they douse an area in heavy synthetic pheromones of the target species. Doesn't kill them or harm them, or harm anything else. What it does do however is make it so the males have absolutely no clue where the females are as suddenly everything smells like a female wanting to mate. Poor lads die of sexual frustration never having been able to find the mate as a result. It's used on Spruce Bud Worm. Then there is BTK, also for Bud Worm but this is a bacteria that exclusively makes bud worm sick. Good buddy of mine was a research scientist on the bud worm province so I've heard a ton about it.
This was the original riddle on the forum and the diatomaceous earth was it's answer. For this game post an original riddle that you came up with on your own. Others will try to figure it out and will be told if right or wrong. Whoever guesses the answer to the riddle correctly, may then post one of their own. If no one can guess the answer after some time, the one who posted the riddle can offer the answer when they choose. Afterwards, it is still their turn to post another.
I shall post the first riddle.
Every one of us is sharp like a razor
Yet soft we feel when millions of us sit inside thy hand.
What am I ?
The time to length ratio is a vital clue.Calories. If you cut those you may or may not gain or lose weight and grow or reduce in size, as 1 lb. equals 3500 kcals consumed, and as daily calorie expenditures must be factored in too.
Yes I know it was the answer to the first riddle. I'm still reading through this thread for the first time. But I love diatoms and insecticide alternatives. Had to info dump a little. That was actually the answer to the riddle that I had previously posted.
