Selfish and cold?

I'm sick of people demonizing the word "selfish". There's nothing wrong with being selfish! Why should I have to always share just because others aren't able to acquire their own things? Needless to say, I'm against socialism. Well, I'm not against voluntary socialism, just socialism by threat of imprisonment or theft(out of my paycheck).

I don't mind sharing, or helping others at times, but I'll be damned if someone calls me selfish just because I don't feel like sharing or helping every single time.

As for cold, that could easily be one's misunderstanding of the other person's viewpoint. People are quick to judge, thus leaving plenty of room for error. I'm guilty of this at times.

Next time someone calls you selfish, call them incompetent; because that's the reality of it! They're either poor at managing their money or time, and that shouldn't be your burden, nor should you be demonized for their life choices!
