A baker had a son who kept telling fibs about his job to his schoolfriends.
When he was waiting for his son to come out of school one afternoon, the first boy's father came up to him and said, "wow, it's really you! Your son told my son that you work for the prime minister."
The baker looked confused and said his son was lying and that he did not work for the prime minister, he was just a baker.
The second boy's mother came up to the baker and said, "wow, it's really you! Your son told my son that you work with the king."
Again the baker looked confused and said that his son was lying and that he was just a baker.
The third boy's father came over to him and said, "wow, it's really you..." But, feeling embarrassed that his son was making up all these far-fetched stories to their sons, he interrupted, "whatever my son told your son will be a dirty, stinking, no good lie. What did he tell you?"
"He told me you're a baker."
