It depends on what you want to go into.

If you’re more into coding than anything else, that’s actually web development rather than design. If you take that track, it might help to know the basics of design, but you don’t need to go in depth.

If you want to work with the front end of websites and logo/print design, then yes, basics like I mentioned are good. You’re going to likely run into all of it elsewhere the more you delve into learning.

Another coding source I know of is freecodecamp, by the way.

I don't know if you still need help in the graphic design department, but I always love helping people get their designs looking spiffier and helping with the general tools and workflow. Sometimes just a few simple pointers can really do wonders, especially if you have some projects you've already been working on.

Also on the web design topic -- do you already know how to code? If not, I can help you in that department as well! There are frameworks for web dev galore, but learning the basic fundamentals will get you much further than anything else.

Whatever projects you're working on, I hope they come to fruition!

Thanks!

OK ... So my options are doubled ... xenforo requests between 60-250 dollars per month (plus 100 dollars yearly Web Hosting). I didn't really know about it until i read on here "Site Announcement".

Whereas I have just Web Hosting and I pay 100 dollars yearly.

I'm cheap 😝 but cool 😎👍👎😅

Edit: I accept donations as mentor, if someone wants help with running a site. Or I can be your friend and share what I have for free. ... I do need Muslim/Christian friends.

There's a really good full stack development course on Udemy, I picked it up for something like $15 on sale. I actually like the instructor a lot from a Python course I took forever ago, so I'm hoping to get into this a little more.

I'm not sure how deep into it I care to go, but at least if I can make my Neocities site look spiffy, that'll do. Your mileage might vary (in a good way) further than mine with something like that in hand, but there are also a lot of great free books and reference guides out there for whatever framework(s) you're using.

One cool thing is that most concepts translate over from other stuff, but it seems like you were hitting snags with specific frameworks I wasn't familiar with. I hope you figure it out :)
