The last thing that made you laugh

This made me laugh and I also found it heartwarming - which for an advert is pretty impressive.

It's Christmas, and an old friend returns to Earth to spend Christmas with a childhood friend now grown up.
(Props to Henry Thomas reprising his role here):

When I first moved to Darwin a lot of people asked me if there were many women up there. I gave them the facts, men outnumbered women by 1.8 to 1, but that one woman, she got around a fair bit. :)

Seeing outtakes where, when someone gets their line wrong, they don't swear but instead get creative with their frustrated outbursts.

One such outtake I watched involved a guy getting his line wrong before shouting "Oh fart, bum and knickers!"

Watching a spoiled girl in a shop throw a tantrum because her Mum wouldn't buy her something and then try to storm out of the shop - only to trip over the shop step and fall flat on her face before she got back up and continued her storming off.

I wanted to laugh so much that I had to hide in the aisles with my hands over my face; I probably looked beet red by the time I emerged.

These two anime OVAs for Shinesman - a parody of shows like Sailor Moon and Super Sentai/Power Rangers.

It's one of the few animes where I actually prefer the English Dub as the comedy does indeed work in a more subtle way - such as the main villain's minion not wanting to phone their home planet until later, with his leader thinking that it's due to the amount of power needed for the transmission and thus not giving the location of their hidden base away...only for the minion to actually reveal that it's due to the calls been cheaper after 6pm.

Shame there wasn't a full series as I did enjoy these two OVAs. Hope you enjoy them as well:

My friend alerted me to the fact that there's someone at work that has been putting furry (the anthropomorphic characters) stickers all over our workplace. Apparently they put a very inappropriate sticker in a stall in the men's room. Our manager is also apparently very mad because she can't find out who it is.

Yesterday during a break in cutting up a big tree here downed by the storms, Cajun my Lab dog went tearing after the horse and mule again. Doesn't sound like much, but he always grabs some object to chase them with- this time it was a large blue tarp that made a lot of crinkly noise. Horse and mule really got the zoomies with that.
