Mandatory long-form census causing lots of excitement

It's back, it's long, it's full of math, pries into your personal life, and Canadians are loving it.

It's the mandatory long-form census, cancelled by the Harper government amidst controversy, and now reinstated by the Liberals. Most people will get the short version, but one in five households will be required to spend around 45 minutes filling in the more detailed one.

And they can't wait. So many Canadians logged in to fill out their forms, the servers crashed for almost an hour Monday night.

We are such a nerdy group of people as a country sometimes.http://www.cbc.ca/news/trending/census-2016-nerds-1.3563808

The scary thing is that this song really isn't that bad. Dave "The Hammer" Schultz doesn't really try to sing, so it's more bearable than it could have been. For those who don't know, Schultz is the National Hockey League's record holder for most penalty minutes in a season. He's 35th for a career because he only played 7 seasons as a regular. And the song is much better than anything Guy Lafleur ever did. (Because it was the 1970s, Lafleur recorded a disco album. Yes, he did.)

The Dad in this video cracks me up every time.

The game they discuss is sort of like when Marge &
Homer rolled dice: "Spank hair." "Lick eyes."

It was around 2 minutes, when they all started
going in the same direction.
