Good idea! Also making tomato puree for winter is almost like a custom here, everyone does it, maybe i should try too.Cut and clean the fruit and veggies and freeze them. Take the frozen fruit and mix with thick yogurt and blend it into a thick smoothie. It's great for summer. The veges can be used later if they have a low water content. If you bought a lot of tomatoes puree them and then freeze. You can use it later to make a pasta sauce.
I also thought of making jam, since i enjoy baking and cooking a lot. If only i wasn't trying to lose weight..There's also pickling and jam making if you have the time. (and patience)
