The Merry Christmas Thread.

Reminds me of the 1991 animated film, Father Christmas - which was a sequel to The Snowman:
I was 20 years old before I saw snow, and I had to travel interstate for that. Ski season here is August and September. So I grew up seeing all these Christmas stories about snow but they had no meaning. They were as foreign as watching the moon landings.

I wanted a nice picture outside, but Dude got distracted by snow. So we got one nice picture inside and a photo bomb. As for snow, we already have a foot and are adding to it nearly daily.

Some funny Christmas images I found.
There were others I wanted to share but they've either got swearing in or some more "adult" humour, so I had to leave those.

I want to wish a merry Christmas to those who are not here. Some people left for unknown reasons during the past year. I hope they are ok and merry Christmas to them.

Well the beef jerky factory is now working three shifts in order to fill my gift orders.
I fired it up last Saturday morning when I sliced all of the meat and began my marinade process.
Then came the hurry up and wait sequence on Monday.
This season, I chose to start with 14 pounds of beef, much more than I ever had in the past.
There might even be enough so I can have some this time :emojiconfused:
I'm about at the halfway mark and it looks promising.

Since the train layout is basically in the machineshop again, I decided to pull the blanket off the old 618 Atlas lathe so she could be a part of the festivities :p

I don't think the old gal looks to shabby considering she is turning 66 next year ;)
