Video games you're playing?

I'm getting plenty of mileage out of the Switch at present; been playing Sonic Mania, I Am Setsuna and Infinite Minigolf along with the mandatory daily Binding of Isaac session.

@Misery If I were in your position, I'd trade the Switch in/sell it now while you'll still get a decent amount for it. Sounds like you're not getting on with it at all.

Eh, it's fine. At this point I kinda expect some disappointment from things like this. Which is depressing. I dont actually like PCs much either (Windows: Worst thing to happen to computers since ever). And despite disappointment it's still the best of the three consoles as far as I'm concerned. The PS4 is a freaking doorstop and the less I say about the XBone, the better. I bought the Switch specifically for Arms and Splatoon, and it does those things. I just really hate the portable mode. Useless if I cant even hold the thing. But as it has zero function for Arms or Splatoon, it's somewhat irrelevant. It's very unlikely that I'll buy any further games for it. Pretty much exhausted the list of things on it that I'd care about. But it still serves it's function, however minor. I never cared about the price to begin with.

Mostly I'm just irked at yet another unusable portable version of Isaac. That's what, three now? The Switch version, the iOS version, and the 3DS version (would need to buy a whole new 3DS because someone couldnt figure out how to get the normal one to process a 2D game that even my joke of a laptop can run). Though any of these versions would be missing so much content that it'd seriously get on my nerves anyway, so perhaps it doesnt actually matter. Something tells me the updates that the PC one has arent coming to any of those three anytime soon (and mods sure as hell wont). PC version it is, then. Even if the OS is utterly infuriating. I give the consoles credit for one very specific advantage: No Windows. They simply do what they're told.

More Isaac today.

Did an entire run with the Cursed Eye item while not using Lilith. Managed a win. Talk about a satisfying victory. Most players hate that item and consider it a run-ruiner (except when using Lilith).

Lilith is a great character for Greed Mode runs. By the time you get to the bosses of each floor you've got four friends firing shots and that's without any extras from the locked rooms or the shops.

More of this because of course.

I started playing My Career mode on WWE 2K17 last night, using a creation of an English wrestler called Joseph Conners, so far I'm undefeated on NXT, even in tag team matches, well I did lose a training match against Samoa Joe, but I got my revenge, I've beat him at least twice since, and my character is feuding with him at the moment.

Crypt of the Necrodancer. I got the game originally when it first came out, but I couldnt play it... after just a couple of hours my arm was wrecked. I think it was the overly rhythmic button pressing that did it. At the time my nerve/tendon issue was better than it had been but still definitely a problem.

Well, a couple years and one expansion later and I can finally really dive in. And good grief it's soooooooo good. I see why it did so well (and ended up on consoles and even iOS). Everything about it is freaking perfect. The difficulty is really, really high though, and just gets more and more absurd as you go.

And it has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. In fact, it has many soundtracks, because why the heck not. Or you can use your own music though I cant imagine why I wouldnt just use the ones it has.

Also for whatever utterly baffling reason it got an update centered around Danganronpa. No, I dont know why. Aside from the soundtrack from that series it also lets you switch out the usual characters for characters from that series. Now I'm playing as Junko for... I have no bloody clue why. It really doesnt make much sense, but it was free so okay. Not going to complain. She's always entertaining so that works out well enough.

Screw those spiders in area 4 though. I hate those things so much.

Completed Episode 1 of Life is Strange: Before the Storm last night, just need to replay it to get some achievements I missed out on.

Also downloaded the demo of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, pretty cool, and in the absence of an Xbox version of Street Fighter 5, this could be next best thing, I'll preorder the full version digitally later.

Been playing Pokemon X on and off for the past couple of months. I enjoy it a lot more than Pokemon Moon, the main reasons being that X has a much wider variety of available Pokemon to capture and it's more user-friendly for more casual players like myself. I will admit, however, that Pokemon Moon's human characters are a lot more awesome and interesting than the human characters found in X. Gotta love "ya boy" Guzma, and Lillie is beyond adorable! (Lillie is on all of my desktops, lock screens, etc.)

I finished Uncharted: The Lost Legacy on the PS4 and it was great. The game started off a little slow but I ended up loving the ending. I've also just finished the indie game The Last Door on Steam. It was a lot better than I was expecting. Other than that, I'm still playing Warframe and The Witcher.

Zelda Breath of the Wild - also still trying to hatch shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Moon [got a Solrock the other day]

Currently playing Cuphead right now. If Contra and Walt Disney had a child, this game would be it.

I've heard good things about Cuphead, I just can't justify spending £16 on main card for 1 game, I could do with something good to boost my achievements though.
