We just got back from walk so 2 dogs are resting and one is next to me wanting her lift to any spot of her choosing (she is jumping challenged).

If you have a small dog that you want to spare from having to jump up and down on furniture, an old ironing board works well as a dog staircase. Those usually have some fabric on them and that makes it less slippery, more traction for tiny paws. I modified one slightly and made something similar to a wheelchair ramp up to the couch for my yorkie, worked great. :) She was racing full speed up and down it all the time. I also made a small one going from the stairs outside my entrance up to the front door. It made it much easier for her.

I thought she was interested in the crumpled paper in this bag but just remembered I carried a bag of dry cat food home in it, so she’s smelling it.

:)

She just tried walking through the handles on the bag and got all tangled around her shoulders and belly.

Had to extricate.
