What made you happy today?

Catching up on The Owl House...
I don't know what's cuter, Amity pretending she doesn't have a massive crush on Luz, or Luz's total obliviousness to Amity's feelings XD

I really do like Amity's character development in this show.

Black coffee and a toasted English muffin in the morning.

The fact that it is Friday and therefore the end of my work week.

My lovely friends who I keep in contact with using my phone every day.

The fact that my coffee maker can be set on a timer so that coffee is fresh and ready just a few minutes after my morning alarm goes off. Now, that is motivation to get out of bed right there.

That I managed to get some things done early, including a free flu shot this morning. As my husband is immune compromised I'm included in the 'necessary' innoculations right away.

My computer is working, the tech who built it found nothing wrong with my old hard drive, it simply would not start, some microscopic flaw in a connection may have caused the difficulties. Motherboard is fine. I've replaced the hard drive, and all is well.

Not just happy,
but very happy.

After finally getting an interview for some part time work and keeping my head during the interview,

I discover I got the job :)
Not only that,
my placement is in the building that houses many and varied classic cars.

My inner geek is positively bouncing with glee :D

The oven mitts and pot holder I ordered from Amazon arrived today. My mother said she wanted new oven mitts for Christmas, but we couldn't find anything good at Walmart. So I ordered them online, and they look great. My mom doesn't know I ordered them, so I'm going to surprise her.

Maybe hang the oven mitts on the fireplace (if you have one) and fill them with candies, apples, oranges, walnuts or whatever, for her to find on Christmas morning. Who says it has to be stockings hung by the fire?

Not today, but yesterday I did some Christmas shopping. Not only did I get most of my people done, but I also got a few things for myself: a cute dress, a new manga, and a figurine of Matt from Digimon.

Yay. Ballet was hard and challenging. And repetitious (love that repitity rep). And l can lift my leg up easier using tip from youtube ballerina.

One for any Dragon Ball fans - this been a fan animation of Goku (the main protagonist) as a kid having a cute moment with his mother, Gine.

Hearing the news this morning that my 80 year old Father's triple bypass surgery and heart valve replacement went very well and was finished much quicker than expected.

His heart doc says other than the clogged arteries, he has the heart health of a teenager and expects a great recovery.
