What song are you listening to right now?

Run devil run jenny lewis and Watson twins.

Squee! Oh goodness, I love that album. Jenny Lewis is one performer I have yet to see live that I really want to.

EDIT: There's a performance that I imagine is floating around the internet somewhere, part of an NPR broadcast, I think, in which they do this song, slightly differently. Try searching "Jenny Lewis 9:30" and it might come up...could be it's even still up on NPR Music's site somewhere.

Yeah i Iove jenny lewis. She's awesome. Loved her with rilo Kiley.
She'd be awesome to see live.

She's definitely on my "bucket list." It's fascinating to compare her really early work with Rilo Kiley (see: Takeoffs and Landings) with what she's doing now. I sort of got the same impression when hearing a really early album by New Pornographers...I was like, "Wait, that voice sounds really familiar...Oh my goodness, that's Neko Case!" It's cool to see singers mature in their voices and styles.

For the First Time in Forever~ Frozen sung by Kristine Bell and Idina Menzel.

I adore classical music, I'm currently craving Mozart other than Beethoven. I also enjoy other music although not as much as classical music.

What is it with us Aspies and liking classical music so much? Actually come to think of it, I could have sworn that I read somewhere that Mozart was a suspected aspie.

Do movie scores count as classical music? If so, I'd have to say my favorite composers are Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman, Randy Newman, James Horner, Michael Giaccino and Henry Jackman.

I am on board with every single one of these, and I would be remiss if I didn't add Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone.

GallacticGorilla got me back onto Bright Eyes. My love for this album is, I'm sure, a product of my age and the mental state I was in at the time.

Back a long time ago, before some of you were familiar with radio, commercial radio had disc jockeys who decided what would be played (within format) rather than having the whole thing pre-programmed into a computer.

So, every few months you'd see a story in the newspaper of some DJ who locked himself (I don't recall a woman doing it) in the studio and played one track over and over and over again. This is what I'm doing with this song right now. No, I don't know why I'm doing it.
