What was the last movie you watched?

Deathgasm (2015)
It's a gory heavy metal horror comedy. That's pretty much all you need to know, I reckon.
I loved it of course. \m/ :D \m/

"Winchester"

With actress Helen Mirren in the title role. Sara Winchester, who inherited the Winchester arms fortune, and was obsessed with the notion that all the souls killed with a Winchester rifle were raising hell in her mansion. Where she felt obligated to endlessly continue construction to both accommodate and confuse the spirits. Very strange story, though the film wasn't well received.

I guess I could overlook shortcomings of the movie given I've always been fascinated with the actual story. I've visited the "Winchester Mystery House" twice over the years. Would love to return one more time!

One strange and eerie place.

Welcome to the Winchester Mystery House® - Winchester Mystery House

Rush (2013)
The rivalry between 70s, F1 racing drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda.

liked the story (and the engine noises)

Here is a clue about the last movie that I watched, "Peter tingle...!" ;)

(Two of my sons took me out for a late Father's Day present.)

Have you seen the movie Tales from the Darkside?
The title sounds very familiar; but I suppose it is quite generic! I thought I must have seen it; but then I watched the trailer and it doesn't ring any bells. I have to assume I haven't seen it before; but I'd like to! The trailer looks good. :)

I think you'd like it, especially considering how many ties it has to the film Creepshow:
  • The film was directed by John Harrison (who was the assistant director for Creepshow).
  • It was produced by Richard Rubinstein (who co-produced Creepshow and executive-produced the sequel Creepshow II).
  • The screenplay for the first and third stories - "Lot 246" and "Lover's Vow" - was done by Michael McDowell (who did the screenplay for Tim Burton's film Beetlejuice).
  • The screenplay for the second story - "The Cat from Hell" (which was supposed to appear in Creepshow II but was cut for budgetary reasons) - was done by George Romero and based off the short horror story written by Stephen King.
  • Tom Savini - the make-up artist/special effects technician for both Creepshow and Creepshow II and who also had small acting roles in both movies - has gone as far as to call Tales from the Darkside "the real Creepshow III" (the movie that was called Creepshow III been a downright awful film that has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes).
Personally, I'd rate "Tales from the Darkside" to be better than Creepshow II (which is still a decent movie) but not as good as Creepshow.
If you get a chance, check it out - you might like it.

The last movie I re-watched was...
Love Live - The School Idol Movie
Sorry, I'm obsessed!

It was fun though, for a fan of the anime. If you've watched and empathised with six hours of the characters feeling really really inspired and determined, you can enjoy another couple of hours of the same. :)
Nostalgia, friends working together to achieve their dreams, well animated song & dance numbers, and plenty of strong cheese. :D

Feral.
It wasn't scary or creepy or suspenseful, and it didn't make me jump. :(
I'll post again when I have watched something decent, lol. :)

In Bruges.

Amazing film. I checked the trailer for it the other day though and WOW do trailers always seem to completely destroy films! :rage:!!!

Yeah, I dance between ignorantly kind of enjoying the violence and silly harsh humour, while also being a bit personally bothered by it depending on my state of mind. But really I love that film to bits.

As Above, So Below
It was pretty creepy but I've seen it before and it was better the first time. It's worth watching.

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." o_O
"What?"
"That's what it's supposed to say over the gates of Hell"
"I am NOT going in there!"
"We have to. There's no way other way out."
