What was the last movie you watched?

Go West: A Lucky Luke Adventure

I was vaguely aware of Lucky Luke as another European series like Tintin or Asterix (both of which I'm a fan of), but had never gone out of my way to see any of it until I randomly stumbled across an English dub of this film.

I like it! It's highly reminiscent of the classic Looney Tunes shorts and I imagine that if the old Termite Terrace crew had made a feature length film back in the day, it might have been something like this. I'll have to see if I can track down the other movies now.

Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks

Now that's more like it! The first film, while good, didn't live up to expectations, but this is a definite improvement. The writing, music, animation, etc. are all better than before and, most importantly, it feels like a big screen movie as opposed to just a long episode of the show. Now, can we get a FIM movie that's actually set in Equestria? Please?

All four of Leapfrog's Scout and Friends movies. At least if the kid is going crazy about a character, it's an educational one. I'm pretty fond of little Scout too, although Penny needs to go find a mouse trap...

The latest Transformers movie...was DH's choice, but I enjoyed it, too. I tend to appreciate more of a character-based plot than what the comic-movies provide, though.

A Million Ways To Die In The West

At first, I was fairly sceptical about watching this, as it didn't seem like something I would enjoy at all. I was pleasantly surprised at how well written it actually was, and how funny. Great if you appreciate a good tongue-in-cheek comedy.

Seth MacFarlane, no? I have a love/hate relationship with his work...I am interested to see this one.

I have The Virgin Spring from Netflix waiting to be viewed, as soon as I have the time...

Yeah, Seth MacFarlane. To be honest, I'm not a fan of his other works (at all), which is why I'm surprised I liked this one. In saying that, I'm not sure if this would mean that a fan would find this movie disappointing. I related well with the main character, who spends most of the movie wondering why all the other characters think that their way of life isn't something to be questioned.

I just remember, when he did the Oscars, my friend and I were trying to watch them (we had some bets going), only we didn't have a television and there was no live online stream, so we just followed Linda Holmes' live-blogging...I mentioned on Twitter, I remember, that I thanked Ms. Holmes for watching the ceremony so we didn't have to. :P

We just watched this last night, also making this the last movie I saw. Surprisingly good.

Star Wars - Rebels: Spark Of Rebellion

Wow. Just wow. When Disney bought Star Wars, I was extremely excited because I'm a HUGE fan of both and I knew that if anyone could take over from George Lucas, it would be them. As their first Star Wars production, I was anxious to see this film to see what they did with the material and I'm pleased to be able to say that they absolutely nailed it right out of the gate.

Everything that makes Star Wars great is there and much to my delight, all the elements that Disney fans love about their original productions are there as well. It's a perfect blend of the two that's undeniably Star Wars and unmistakably Disney. I cannot wait for the series to begin so I can follow the new adventures every week. If you like Star Wars or Disney even a little bit, you do NOT want to miss this one.

Horns

Wasn't that bad IMO.. I just can't picture Radcliffe as anything else besides Harry Potter; I hate how my mind sometimes connects actors to certain roles. (though luckily I've watched Orange is the new black before I got into That 70s show, it would've messed Laura Prepon up for me for good, lol)

I just re-watched Hostel.

In my mind it had a lot more gore... I was sorely disappointed :(

The upside; I've recognized so many soundbytes that end up in music I've been listening over the last few years
