Where are you from?

I'm from Nevada and I live ... in Nevada, less than 50 miles from where I grew up. This makes my overall lifetime speed less than one mile per year.

I've been to Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Guatemala, Holland, Mexico, Sweden, and Fiji.

About 350 km linear distance straight south of you in northwest Germany.

Learning Danish is on my bucket list, but I have to get more proficient in a couple of others first. (I prefer speaking fewer languages well to stammering in many. ;))

Don't really know now as I was there many years ago (1987-90). I do know there are some dangerous areas , especially in the southern islands and there are still pirates and insurgents who take foreigners hostage but this is mostly in the south. Your friend would be your best guide in that regard.

Oh I see just listen to much to the news sometimes lol. I will ask her when the time comes, I actually can't recall wich part she is from...

Hi, Neighbor ^^ ...I understand :) I speak German though, because we learn it in school ^^

Nice, I am going to Canada in 2020, is there something there is a most see in Toronto ?
Ripley's aquarium, CN tower, the CNE, St.Lawrence market, Science center, pacific mall and the zoo(Not exactly in toronto for both, but near there) Eaton centre, distillery district(the christmas market is VERY expensive but quite nice if you can find good deals) there are also a lot of stadiums and stuff open, as well as different festivals and events ( comicon, taste of the danfourth, pride parade, carribana, christmas and st patricks day parade, buskerfest, etc) We're really not as boring and quiet as people make us out to be, we're more like fake new york :p

Southern Missouri, in the US. I have always lived in this area, and always wanted out, but the older I get it the more it seems that the Universe has conspired to keep me here. Welcome to the forum.

Sheffield, England. Apparently the fifth largest City in the UK.

It's a great City, well it would be if the local Council wasn't run by a pack of morons, but this ain't the Politics section so I'll stop there.

Well I like Canada don't find you boring at all...oh I have to see if some of the parades are up when I am coming there in the summer...

Oh I see that is nice, Denmark is a small fairytale country indeed. California is one of the places I would like to go, but I am actually a little affraid of going to America on my own *SIGH*. I "collect" Disney World adventures, so I would love to go to the original in California.

Oh thank you so much for taking a look :D I am not quit done yet, but feel free to read and also correct my english in the entries if you find any mistakes :) ...My fave travel quote is by H.C Andersen - At rejse er at leve (To travel is to live.)

Hi Henriette. I do hope you make it to California/Disneyland, at some point. I can understand your fear of traveling alone, to the US. I imagine it could seem overwhelmingly expansive, in comparison to Denmark.

I will, absolutely, be reading more of your blog, and look most forward to doing so, and, indeed, I would be happy to let you know if I notice 'mistakes with your English', if you'd like, although, I quite like imperfections in other's speech/use of language, and, similar, to what another member mentioned, I think your English is exceptional!
