So i am applying for a remote immigration paralegal position in another country, and besides my resume and cover letter they also require a writing sample that is indicative of my document preparation skills.
This job is based in the US ( i am not American) I am proficient in English which is not my native language, and i am also skilled in preparing documents. However i am not sure how to go about preparing a writing sample. I have never prepared one.
Should the focus be on displaying my English skills, or the subject of immigration law itself? I can probably prepare a legal letter after doing some research on the subject but it might take a while.
I have writing samples in English from my previous jobs, but they include private info of clients so i cannot use those.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
