She had her own place at the actual table and a plate which nibbles would be placed on. If she noticed that you were taking too long putting things on her plate she would start pawing it.

Dog V2 would climb up and sunbathe on the windowsill behind the sofa. When we first got him he was given a place at the table like Dog V1 but he wouldn't touch anything.
I have had two doctor's appointments recently, and they couldn't find anything wrong with me, other than things that are already known issues. It's frustrating. I suppose fibromyalgia really is the culprit, despite always being afraid that something worse is going on.

im so sorry to hear, i hope things get better for you soon :(
Here is the "elegant yet determined" Pointer gait I was talking about. This is my dog, and he is both show line and working line. Moves like a show dog, hunts like a working dog.

From the breed standard: "Gait: Smooth, frictionless, with a powerful hindquarters' drive. The head should be carried high, the nostrils wide, the tail moving from side to side rhythmically with the pace, giving the impression of a well-balanced, strongly-built hunting dog capable of top speed combined with great stamina."

I dreamed about maycontainthunders dog. lol. he made cute quieking sounds lol. he let me stroke him and when I walked away, then he dried to jump on me and lick my face, but I sidestepped and he missed lol. another dream scene was weird, because he started to speak and then was half human and half dog.

Though this isn't in the breed standard English Bull Terriers are usually referred to as having a walk like a drunken sailor.
People keep telling me I should be a Youtuber or an "influencer" and that I'd be super popular if I did. I have considered doing Youtube but I don't feel like I have the right kind of voice, or verbal skill. I don't think my appearance or my daily life are that marketable but people keep suggesting this to me and saying I have the right personality for it.

I guess I tune out "influencers" so I am the last person to know what it takes to be one. I think you have an inner beauty that can come through.

it´s naive to think that people would treat one well, because you´re a nice person. the opposite is often the case.

you would be great if you were a youtuber! i follow a lot of people that don't have to do with the norms of fashion and makeup. my favorite youtubers are autistic content creators actually!:relaxed: i would watch all your videos. :)
My birthday is in a few weeks! I keep forgetting about it lol because I can't wrap my head around being 28...

I feel the same about my birthday and being in my 30s.. I am like 30s? Me? Don't feel like it lol. Btw you truly fit the Libra personality to me! Kind, friendly, pleasant to talk to.

Yeah, that’s exactly how I feel! Me? 30s? Impossible! Lol

Sorry for all my bitter/ranty posts lately. I have had the week from hell. But being part of a supportive community and having caring friends makes me feel better! I'm going to spend the rest of the night relaxing and doing nice things for myself. Thank you everyone for always being so kind.
I’m filing a complaint with the corporate headquarters of Whole Foods for kicking me out of their store because I have a service dog. They literally said that they don’t believe that she’s a service dog because she’s a “pitbull” and that they thought she would “bite someone.” That is blatant discrimination and this is the second time in two days that I’ve had to be confrontational and give someone a piece of my mind.
Note to self: you know you’ve gained a lot of weight when you go to adjust your bra strap, and it breaks. Lol

I would suggest doing what I did to start losing weight, and stop drinking beer as if it were water - but I don’t believe you are up to that, so that advice probably would not work.

"You know you gained a lot of weight when...." sounds like a good title for a book, and then the author can on each page give a mix of funny answers and real answers that actually happened, as everyone at one time likely could relate somewhat there.

I bought jeans in a size l normally fit. And they were too tight. So l said these are sized wrong instead of, oops, l am eating at 12:00 pm again.
I was walking my dogs a little while ago, and someone who just moved here recently had her (off leash) aggressive dog outside, she was drunk too, and he ran up to my dogs, attacked them, and bit two of them IN THE FACE. They’re not badly injured, but I had a rare moment of being extremely confrontational, and I’m filing a report with animal control and the police. I’m about to make this dumbass lady’s life miserable.

Can come from lack of socializing, can't even tell they're not being challenged. But particularly from the owner unknowingly putting too much pressure, spoiling dogs, treating like they're not supposed to have boundaries, excess loving\at inappropriate times, lack of patience, training, lack of positive communication such as anything that doesn't use voice or violence but insists on clarity towards the animal.

Basically a mix of things that contribute to a dog's understanding towards 'I know what is happening, I make the rules, I defend us, not you, you are accompanying me as I guide us through society because I am the caretaker and you will follow and have an easy, safe, relaxing and healthy, fulfilling life in return. I am trustworthy, communicative and confident, and I relax because there is no danger for our pack.'

The thing is that dogs are instinctual and because even trained dogs get distracted sometimes they need off leash control, such as the remote collar for situations where the dog doesn't respond immediately and there is danger like cars or a fight. By the time you get to the situation, it can happen and so it can be dealt with in time.
So I’m taking my dogs for a hike along the beach instead, now that summer is over and the beaches are allowing dogs. It’s cool out today so it will be nice.

... was completely terrified to the sight of it being transformed in a street lengthening, which was useless. Such disappointment. My country has 3 dog parks in total, out of which none is permanently open, rarely open and active, more so for events. No laws for animal crime. Strays were falsely neutered for money, they walked the streets marked yet intact.

@All-Rounder, your country has almost no dog parks? That's a little unusual. The dogs should arrange a protest march or something, demanding more dog parks. :)

Heh, yeah. What I mean by mock is that they actually kept it closed, owners kept complaining that it wasn't ever open after they announced its opening. After several months it was closed. :nomouth: i was gonna call in to ask if i can be responsible for opening the door and other things. But it was too late as they started taking it out. It's illegal to have none here, there are a lot of dogs. The mayor is corrupt.
I feel so bad about my friend not being able to go to the show, and I didn’t go without her so I missed out too. Not a big deal for me to miss it, but I’m really sad for her and hope she feels better soon :(
Omg, I'm so upset right now... my friend (who is actually my employee who works for me) just called me and said she has food poisoning, and she's not sure if she can make it tomorrow! We were supposed to go together. I don't want to go without her, because I know how important this event is to her. I really hope for both of our sake that she is ok and feels better really fast! She said she'll let me know by 1am.

Wasting a couple of $35 entry fees is seriously not an issue compared to my friend's wellbeing. I have pulled out of shows last minute before for things like this. I work tomorrow evening anyways so that will make up for it.

Sorry to read this. We have cases of food sickness here because so many places are short-staffed and shortcuts are taken with people getting sick more often.

I realized that the pizza I ate raw had raw bacon on it. but no problems so far : D
I have to be up at 4am, like I mentioned yesterday, but excitement and nerves about tomorrow are keeping me awake, lol
Luca obviously isn’t my actual name, I hate my actual name, and I’m trying to change it. Luca is a nickname, but the names I really like are Jordana, Vanessa, and Lena Maria. I need a name that fits me, lol

I have to wake up at like 4am on Saturday to drive to a dog show. It better be worth it lol, I have two dogs that are really close to earning new titles (one conformation championship, and one Rally Excellent title)
Enzo blew through the Rally Novice and Rally Advanced titles in less than a year. Hex needs two points to finish her conformation championship. This event has conformation, Obedience, Rally, and others.
It has been a weird day.

Just a lot of things didn't go as expected, like a random visit from a friend, and one of my neighbors being super weird. The day also went by a lot faster than I thought.

The Dog Whisper's show was to show how some dogs would be euthanized if they could not be trained. To help the general public understand the seriousness of this issue. Cesar brought badly needed awareness to this.
