    Reading the dictionary is so much fun.. it is crazy that all we read and everything we hear and say can be found in this one book. It's a shame that I'm too low class to use the cooler and complex vocabulary.

    A lady that was alone initiated a conversation with me at Church. Perhaps I'm not as unappealing as I think I am. We had a good conversation, lots of laughter. I looked at her and saw she was good-looking and so I wanted to get to know her, make her laugh, share personal things, etc. Everything was very authentic.

    I also had dinner with my pastor and his family. It was the first time ever having dinner over at an acquaintance's house. We had a discussion on theology and my desire to be baptised.

    I was Saved on Easter Sunday. It was an exhilarating experience. Baptism followed a week after. Something like that anyway.

    I hate how people assume that I'm a Muslim based on my appearance and name. Even though I'm very pale/light-skinned, some people jump off of that, but when people learn my name, people think it's certain. I'm considering changing my name to a more Christian/European one. I kinda hate my name to be honest.

    Quite a few of us have an IQ of much higher than 120. Your second question lacks any context an doesn't make sense.

    @Outdated Like, when you're presented with a problem and you want to get to a solution and there are multiple solutions available, are you able to process multiple pathways to multiple solutions at once? Or do you go from one to another? Sort of like creating and following multiple flowcharts at once. You'd have to be able to predict and take into account the necessary variables too

    To me it is all fluid. Not pathways but scales of probability that to a lot of people could look a bit like weather forecasts. I have no idea how much I can do at once because it always seemed that the busier I am the better I can perform. I used to be a Production Manager for print companies and it was something I excelled at.

    I think my piano tutor ghosted me. Lol. Can’t help but laugh at things like this now. People can’t bear to be with me for an hour a week whilst being paid to.

    Think of it as a reflection on them as a person, and don't twist it into an attack on yourself. But give it time, there might be a genuine reason for their lack of response. If not, and they continue to ghost you; then it's unprofessional, and you deserve better in a tutor.

    I played football again with my workmates. That connection I felt with them by bonding through an activity is something I cannot get from normal conversation. I feel that that is what is normal. It makes me think of my place and the effect I have in normal conversation.

    It'd be like being that one player on the pitch that does not display any passion, excitement or joy whilst playing, not cooperating or playing with the team. Or playing with a different strategy in mind and causing disorder. It's jarring.

    IKEA is such a cosy place to be. Nice to see families and optimistic-looking younger aged couples shopping to improve their homes. I hope I can have that one day. If all else fails, I hope I can at least do couple things with an AI partner in 10-15 years. That is a huge thing that is keeping me motivated.

    I'd be close to forty by then. I can live until 100 if I am smart and stay healthy. I can then technically live most of my life with a partner. It's all I want.

    The first time I went to IKEA it was like a baffling ordeal for me. I had no idea how it worked. I figured it out eventually. Now when I go to IKEA I walk straight in through the exit and I don't bother with the labyrinthium show room area lol!

    I have several small furniture items in my home from IKEA. I liked that they came unassembled which made them easy to transport from Sacramento to Jefferson. Also, they fit in the odd nooks of my home just fine. I also like some of the little houseware items they have, like clocks. I use a pair of pot holders from there.

    @FayetheAspie I did. I actually ended up losing track of time and played for 3 hours. My knees and feet didn't like that very much.. it's been a painful recovery for two days. :D

    I'm going to spend the next six months learning the piano. Perhaps I can win a women's love with music. I'm completely willing to spend lots of time and money on this. I even bought an expensive new keyboard already.

    I play piano and the pieces you get to play within that time period are fairly basic. Also, I haven't got any love for it.
    Don't spend "lots of time and money". A teacher and 1 hour of daily practice should be enough, more than that it's unlikely to be of much more benefit.

    @Trophonius How many hours of tutoring do you think I should get a week in addition to 1 hour of daily practice?

    Also, I know it’s not certain but it will likely help.

    Why do people say things like "seek professional help" when the other person is likely just as much as messed up as I am? So condescending. It should be more common to say "continue, just learn from your mistakes". Isn't that what the other person has done to get where they are? Experience is the best teacher.

    @thejuice Yup. I saw the most condescending post on Friday. It was appropriately vague so that users had to guess whether it was about them or not and example posts weren't provided. Of course, the thread is visible so that others can see their virtue signalling, attacks and crude display of superiority but the comments are blocked so that no one with an opposing view can respond. I wonder why.

    @thejuice Of course, that post relates to the desire to control others' lives and what they can say, thinking they know what is best for others. It is sickening, especially because this is a platform that has a lot of vulnerable people.

    Then again, it is difficult to respond to something so vague. It's clear the post was for the person's own ego and probably made in a state of emotion.

    My day at work was much better. I interacted with those people in my other post amicably. They initiated in a friendly manner first, and we had a great back and forth. It seems I misinterpreted what happened yesterday. I also worked with a few other nice people. I was good in conversation. My biggest weakness I need to fix is initiation. I cannot read and understand the context surrounding this.

    I think I have a crush on a girl there. Whenever I see her, I naturally just can't help but smile, laugh and look downwards bashfully. The nice thing is, she does the same. I acted quite cold to her in the final hour yesterday after that interaction in my last post. I want to fix that. She was working elsewhere today.

    I also wish that we had a place for outcasts and rejects that is considered 'noble' or 'virtuous' like the night's watch.

    I've been at work for 2 months now. All the people I befriended/allied with have gone. They are keeping me on because I'm a hard worker.
    Also, I think I was getting made fun of by people of my own ethnicity. Even worse, it was in the native language. You are the worst if you talk in a foreign language around someone who does not understand it whilst laughing at that person.
