  • It seems clear to me that most people in my daily life want me to die.

Anybody who wants you to go away should get their wish-simply cut off all contact and exit their lives 100% permanently. You don't have to harm yourself, simply cut off the toxic person. It's funny though how when such people are suddenly deprived of their punching bag they start trying to reel you back in.

Yeah, I should become a hermit and reject social life altogether. People I once thought were close friends are now too busy to even talk to me or text me. Something about me drives people away. I should have never been born to begin with.

Hey, I feel the same way. I am a de facto hermit right now, living in a place where nobody even knows or cares that I exist. It is actually quite liberating.
I feel like sipping a Negroni in a beachside cafe, checking out the hot swimmer guys in their swimsuits.
Listening to the new Dream Theater album while I work at the office.

first impression is this is a backward step for the band and is fan servicing nostalgia coin, which is fine and fun in its own way, I prefer progress. It's typical Portnoy era DT but downtuned. Portnoy sounding exactly the same as 20 years ago. If only he expanded his horizons like he does his drum kit. In some ways he's a more talented Lars: he refuses to practice, his priority is micro managing the band.
I just got fasting blood work done this morning. Most of my stats are within normal range, but my cholesterol is way too high. That worries me.

Are you taking any statin? I've had to watch my fat intake because of my Type 2 diabetes. But this past year, using a continuous monitor, I have been doing well. My A1c has been around 5.6, nearly at a prediabetic level.

@tree the dosage used to treat cholesterol was 2000mg three times a day, the standard recommended intake is 12-18mg a day, that's WAY too large a dose. @Gerald Wilgus I am not taking any statin. The doctor will see me next in a week to discuss the next steps.

    That's a lot.
    I didn't mean go mega-dose.
    Just add some.

It's been helpful to me with depression.
Some of the ramen brands I can pick up at the local Korean market are supremely God tier.

Oh yeah, authentic East Asian ramen makes the American stuff (like Top Ramen and Maruchan) taste like wet paper. Avoid Thai ramen though unless you love spicy turned up to 11, which I don't. There's now a Hmong market in Yreka to serve the marijuana planters, and they have stuff like this.

I have some Dashi in the freezer that I made for a ramen base. I am fortunate that there is an Asian Market in Traverse City. I picked up the Dashi and Bonito Flakes there.
I want to order a pizza, but I don’t need all those calories. A pizza with a half ton of pepperoni on it. If I did order that, who is coming to my house to help me consume it?

Cauliflower pizza crust is actually great. l haven't seen vegan pepperoni but l would try it.
I feel like going out to a bar tomorrow night to pay a cover charge, buy a soft drink and some nachos, and watch the band.
When I was 21, I had no problems finding a group of guys to spend a Saturday night with, eating pizza, drinking Mountain Dew, watching movies. I'm no longer 21 and all of those guys are no longer in my life. Now friendship is more about quality than quantity, although I do want to expand my social network.
I feel like maybe starting off my exercise routine with cardio twice a day may be overkill.

when l first started, it was 20 mins cardio, l finally was up to 50 mins. l have to restart, l had to many errands to do. So l will do 30. But l throw in 20 on the bike, the rest is treadmill.

I also started with 20 minutes a day. Then I started with 20 minutes twice a day. Now, I can do 45 - 60/day. Sometimes, it is all together and sometimes, I still split it up.
I feel like doing some cardio later on tonight. Late night cardio. Burn off this nervous energy I am in possession of.
I feel like I want to hike a long nature trail on a nice sunny day when those days will finally arrive.

Hell, I think I will walk a mile both ways to Fred Meyer and buy myself some fresh pineapple.
