Fascinating to see something that so clearly looks like the morphing of a VW Beetle and a Porsche Speedster.

I always wished Porsche would come out with a lower cost sports car....<dream on>

My car is unusual in that it has the quad head lights, possibly for the US market

Some more citroen GSs and a couple of a citroen Marahi, it was gased on a cv chassis with a plastic body.

I helped my Father build one of these in 1976 on a type 1 VW chassis

Nice looking car, I like my cars to be curvy.
we scrapped a 1963 Corvair Spyder and wanted to use the 150 hp turbocharged engine in it but the boxer 6 was too long to fit under the new body

I grew up in the 60s and thought having a 1969 SS 396 El Camino and the complimenting '69 Camaro RS/SS Indy Pacecar convertable was normal
these are not the cars, but the same paintjobs

yeah that happens at times. The citroen DS was to be a air cooled flat six, but had cooling issues with it. a Ds Deacp would be nice.

I owned my same Camaro in 1979...boy did it grind my mother's gears...she never learned to drive my manual transmission car

It is a pity so few people can drive a manual now. the biggest sellers are Autos, but you can hire a manual for less.

When I took driver's education,an automatic was a stranger to my driving style...I hated the Mopar auto car we had to drive for that class

I had to stuff my left foot under the seat to prevent locking the brakes as the car rolled to a stop as I applied pressure to the "clutch" pedal...laughs

I actually passed my drivers license test in the Bradley...the officer that went on the ride was actually impressed with the car...the other choice of cars was the Camino...

The same day I passed my test,I drove the El Camino with a tandem axle trailer behind it in traffic...the trailer had about a 6,000 lb.load on the 3,000 lb. trailer and we had to stop and start about 50 times on a steep hill...I learned to drive at age 10 and drove my first car home at age 13...it had a 4 speed

I always have a bit of a sadistic chuckle when I watch "The Amazing Race" where they have competitors having to drive stick-shifts. But then in my entire life I've never owned a car that had an automatic transmission.

A article I found on the Lancia delta S4 rally car, some may find interesting.

One of my insurance agents used to drive a Lancia back in the 80s when they were available here.

We used to talk cars a lot...it broke the ice for serious business. :)

well they are not common:) I have not seen another one of my car in two years, the garage worked on one last week, a station wagon. So it must have been like a bus they all come at once.
