For some reason citroens never caught on with the Americans, too eccentric?
From what I understand Citroen had to change their head lights for the Us market, then there was a ruling against the use of self leveling suspension. for instance the SM had swiveling head light , for the Us market they had to have fixed headlights.
Some more unsual citroen cars, based upon the 2cv. The M35 (blue one) single rotor and the base car the Ami, a up market 2cv
Some thing interesting about the Citroen of that era up to the 80s, was that the weight distribution was 70/30 to the front. That was why they could be driven with out a back wheel you would lock the suspension in the high position with the ride height selector inside. I may be able to do it with my GSA.
ROFL!!!! I remember that episode quite well. They really couldn't do anything about it, because there was actually no law against driving with only three wheels.
