In general for myself, no matter what drink is involved I don't consume hot liquids before October or after April.

Hot drinks just don't appeal to me when the warmer temps come back.
Believe it or not, the military did studies years ago that proved we generally get it backwards.
Cold drinks in the summer will tend to make you hotter as your body tries to increase your core temperature to compensate for it.
Hot drinks in the winter have the opposite effect if in the cold.

So yeah, we got it backwards.

Too little, too late for me.

After all, I no longer have to get up and commute to go into "combat".

Kind of creepy to know that even alcohol and caffeine were very much part of the infamous "Edgewood Arsenal Human Experiments". Yet tobacco was not. Go figure.

A DOD program lasting from 1948 to 1975 when the whole thing was terminated having been publicly exposed. And this allegedly involved army test subjects with consent, unlike the CIA's paralleling program which used test subjects without any consent or knowledge.

I forgot about this one, as the news was so long ago. This was one nasty scandal. Perhaps their credibility is at risk given the sick and scandalous nature of such research done on our own veterans. Maybe they got it backwards. I'm not sure.

I like Black coffee either with Milk or without. (having one right now) I also like flavored coffee like vanilla, hazelnut etc.

I love vanilla....yet have tried such a coffee. Still sounds appealing though.
I think a lot of coffee brands sell flavored coffee beans now. I have tried various of them including kiwi, orange and rose!

I don't like syrups mixed in with coffee like they make at Starbucks and so, when i am craving something sweet, flavored coffee is the best.

How was the orange flavored beans? Sounds intriguing.

Even at my age I'm a real rookie when it comes to coffee.

Orange is nice, it is best to drink it without milk/cream or sugar to enjoy the bitterness.

The bitterness of orange mixes well with bitter coffee, so to speak😄Flavors like hazelnut and chocolate, i drink with milk

I've had the impression that more people dislike the bitterness of coffee than like it.

I guess I'm on the fence about that. I expect it with stronger coffees like Gevalia Espresso, but don't necessarily appreciate it in general. Otherwise my coffee is always black with sugar.

Didn't like the taste- or appearance of milk in my coffee, but then I've not liked milk by itself since a small child. When only powdered milk was available. It was ghastly in the 50s.
Bailey's Cream is probably the one exception right now...but who knows? My tastes may change as I branch out and try more exotic types of coffee.

I used to like a shot of Kahlua in my coffee.

Or a shot of Bailey's.

I admit it, I sometimes miss alcohol, even though I am better off without it.

^^ I have grown to appreciate the bitterness of coffee, over the past few years. When I first drank 'proper' coffee, from a coffee shop as opposed to instant coffee, I thought it seemed too bitter/strong, but now I enjoy the bitter taste.
