Feeling like a baby/child inside

We disagree on whether it's bad
I don't believe I made any such call.

The intent of my post was that I have noticed you complaining about unsolicited opinions on these topics multiple times now, so I offered advice on avoiding such.

I will write this. I know with mental health co conditions it is well understand that you can be delayed and like with my co conditions it is understood in that circle of professionals that your mental age can freeze from where you first became unwell. Like you never really grew up. But we all grow up emotional/mental/physical age. That is life. We wear our adult shoes, but like at times for me I said to my OT like my autistic me is like the little me I must take care of. I can hear them screaming at me sometimes and I must stop and listen. So although I don't have a child It is like I have been given one to nuture in me. You can look to good times in your life and hang onto that, so leaving you having good memories for your 8 year old self when life may be more simple.

all the time. especially following a meltdown; i feel like a helpless toddler and even though i know i can’t help it or stop them, i feel so embarrassed that i’m 27 and i lose control of my emotions at my age

Same here. I feel like I'm a child roleplaying as an adult. When I talk to other adults like my boss or if I'm booking an appointment, I just feel like I'm a child not knowing what I'm supposed to say. It seems like everyone around me are more experienced than me. Even those my own age. I don't feel like an adult at all. It almost feels as if I stopped maturing past the age of 12.
Same. Me too!!!!!
