I love it! I know you’ve told us all the reasons these are pests, but they are so cool!

And the head really looks canine. Most bats have scrunched up faces.

When I was at uni I got to hold a bat in a well-gloved hand. Much, much smaller of course.

Officially they're called Flying Foxes for that reason, but fruitbat rolls off the tongue easier.

I contacted customer service at a business now and got this reply:

"Hi and thank you for contacting us. For good and fast answers we recommend that you use our chatbot Alli".

Now that's ironic. If there is one thing customer service chatbots have never given me, it is good and fast answers. That never happens. I can't stand those stupid things.

I saw an interesting news story today, a brand new fire station in Stadtallendorf, Germany burnt to the ground. A fire truck with a lithium battery was charging, that caught on fire and the entire building went up in flames. Because the fire station did not have a fire alarm...

You can't make this up. Wow.
