No...my e-mail is not active at all....I know likely who did it here.Maelstrom
"I get my e-mail hacked by Aspiescentral members most likely with threats of Homosexual rape...to me a preachers son."
If you receive mail from someone you don't associate with, isn't it likely that your
address was leaked/shared by someone you know?
no one on AC knows my e-mail and I already know .......(a person you know of) hacked me. But it appears some of her friends may be involved too. Yes a third party could have done it ...but I was threatened on AC with a attack a day or two ago...so you can do the math! There are also webcrawlers.
They aren't particular who they gather data on.
But....if you are receiving email from some person on
AC, that person probably didn't go to great lengths to
get your address.
More likely they got it from some other person who
knows you.
yes some is entering my accounts through another computer on AC and sending hate mail to me.So you are saying someone at a remote IP address logged into the forum's database and read stuff?
I am not familiar with the term "IP breach."
Thank you tree I will ...but my family keeps losing the account codes...
Thank you Mia there is a remote chance skype is triggering it but the use numbers don't match up well. Maybe the NSA or who ever will take them out Ha ha! If I go dark everyone loses except maybe me?This is what I've been getting from AC, I've received three Mael. It's a loopback repeat problem, not a breach.
Protocol. 127.0.0.1 is the most commonly used address and is called the "loopback" address.
A loopback address is a type of IP address that is used to test the communication or transportation medium on a local network card and/or for testing network applications. Data packets sent on a loopback address are re-routed back to the orginating node without any alteration or modification.
So that's likely what it is, a loopback test, that's repeating. Here's a copy of the email I received
"Mia,
We noticed a recent login to your account from a new IP address. If this was not you, we recommend that you immediately change your password.
Details:
IP Address: XXX XX XXX XXX
Thanks.

Some other people at AC are having problems with that too, it's been a bit of a glitch, since the blogs went up.
Makes it hard to get into the main account to reset things....I will try to fix it today? How does that figure in?
Okay thank you Mia..... maybe? the bad e-mail was a just random? I don't normally get anything on my e-mail so I was spooked a little considering the problems I am having with a certain person. Maybe less said is better?...hopefully things settle down eventually?Contacted my Internet provider as well Mael, it seems that there is a usual fluctuation in that they use a 'dynamic' IP, instead of a 'static' IP. Which causes the IP address to change four to five times in a month. That may be why the alert system is reacting at AC.
I got an email today from AC (again) saying they noticed a recent log into my account from a new IP address.
Okay. I will not worry about it. I've had three emails, also. Hope they get this fixed.Think it's a website glitch of some sort Kirsty, I've not changed my password as it seemed to have begun right after the blogs were brought back.
