Cannot think of any more possible answers that would satisfy all parts of the riddle.Any more guesses?
It sounds as though I am amusing; yet no laughter do you hear from me.
Say the name of my abode and you'll perhaps think of a tree.
What am I ?
Good one. I would have never guessed it as I was instinctively thinking of the abode for some animal, and after your mention of a tree. I was too locked in to some outside environment train of thought, and looking for synonyms of funny, happy, etc. that were like animal dwelling related, not other item or object related. The answer is the humerus.
The humerus bone (pronounced like humorous which is a synonym of amusing) does not laugh. It's atvteain of thoughr.bode is an arm (which is a limb of the body and hearing the word limb may cause you to think of a tree).
A vaseNow inside your home, I'm a decoration on your shelf.
And yet once I was a home myself.
What am I ?
Uh huh! (had to look that up!)A tamale ?
I think the answer was tamale, as @Boogs said "Uh huh!" which generally should mean "yes, you are correct!" I assumed thus you had guessed the correct answer when there was no further replies from the riddle poster, based on their last response. What is it?
I saw that but it was proceeded by his saying that he "had to look that up" which makes it sound impossible for it to be the answer.I think the answer was tamale, as @Boogs said "Uh huh!" which generally should mean "yes, you are correct!" I am not sure. @Boogs, can you clarify or verify if tamale was the correct answer, as your reply seemed to confuse one or more here whether we should keep guessing.I saw that but it was proceeded by his saying that he "had to look that up" which makes it sound impossible for it to be the answer.![]()
Nope! There was no winners emojie. Uh Huh can just as easily mean no, although I guess it can have variable meaning depending on culture, so, sorry if I was misleading. Warm, but not correct.I think the answer was tamale, as @Boogs said "Uh huh!" which generally should mean "yes, you are correct!" That was why I thought I'd been clear, but I can see how the uh huh could have been confusing! Whoops! (call it a riddle in a riddle then!I saw that but it was proceeded by his saying that he "had to look that up" which makes it sound impossible for it to be the answer.![]()
