Riddles

I was sorely tempted to say "Uh huh"! 🤭
I thought that one would be guessed much quicker, well done!

Clue #1:

My riddles will never always form a certain pattern. Sometimes you must think deeper, sometimes not as deep to solve. Sometimes idiom related, sometimes double meaning answer related. And yet sometimes Harvard riddle type related I resort to, and sometimes standard type riddles I do, whereas sometimes my riddles were taken from ideas others gave me with their answers to some of their created riddles.

In this riddle I just did, I am not looking for an item in a physical home to solve the riddle. The riddle needs to be solved a different way.

I don't think it's so much that it's a particular type of riddle that's being expected, but rather with many minimalist type riddles, the only way to find the correct answer as opposed to a correct answer, it to probe by questioning, and the questioning comes in the form of an initial answer to try and narrow down the directions the puzzle could point at, to find the one the author intends.

So (imho) @FayetheAspie's initial answer fitted the riddle quite well, and your reply ...
I am not looking for an item in a physical home to solve the riddle.
... was a good response because it provided some needed context for us to home in on your intended paradigm (don't know if that's the right word, but I love saying 'paradigm'! 🤗).

The letter "H" was indeed the answer. Well done! @Boogs is the winner.
You gave too much away! I'd not likely have got it otherwise, I'm totally useless at those sort cryptic puzzles.
Lets see if I can knock something up but if anyone has one overdue a good riddling but lacked opportunity, do feel free to interject! 🙂

Not sure this one is very good, but see what you make of it ...

I'm native to eyes and ears,
I'm smoothing or so it appears.
I can bend and also twist,
Or an injury could be the gist.
I push things to their limit,
Like a New York minute.
I struggle to match your game.
I'm variety of the same.

A razor?

Less solidly tangible than that, and are you sure you want to take a razor to your ears and eyes? 😨
Beautifully visceral imagery, but sorry, no cigar roll-up! 😉

A Q-tip. Or better yet, drops. Not likely though, as does not satisfy all parts of riddle.

And too tangible!

There are too many things that could be native to ears and eyes, treat that line as a secondary clue (to help confirm a guess) rather than focusing on those two things.

I can be a noun, verb or adjective!

A story (likely no, as that is just a noun.) Another guess would be, truth (no also, as just a noun too.) As you can see I am running out of ideas.

Would have guessed the answer as being face, but too tangible you might say.

Sorry, I never saw the alerts for some reason, hadn't seen your replies. 😔

Neither face nor senses is it. I have different meaning when my name is verb or noun or adjective!

I'm a filter and I'm a pain,
I'm measurable with a gauge.
I differ from many of my species,
I'm a race on the human worlds stage.
